Are you sure about this? Someone mistakenly transferred 10k to my ecobank some years ago. I knew the money wasn't mine because the name attached to the transaction was strange and I was not expecting any money.


Ecobank froze my because of someone else's mistake. I couldn't even withdraw my own money and this action continued until the money was reversed (took them less than a week)


Note that this money was transferred in error and was not a scam operation, clearly an error from the other end, yet Ecobank froze my so much so that I couldn't withdraw my own money. If Ecobank can do that, why can't access? I bank with two banks today, but ecobank is still number one due to this factor. .

Note also, this complaint was launched over 6 months ago, if not more. The victim has provided them with all the document they demanded for to prove his claims. That the scammer is a free man today and the op has not gotten gotten a refund is a far cry from the image you are trying to paint about this process.
