What port you use to apply for ur child copr ,confirmation of resident paper with thr child photo on it should state the nationality and l hope ur child has COPR? Becos even america apply for canadian permanent resident like every other nationality and only different is when port send to embassy ,they only get COPR and no visa inside port. But they also are require to the medical test and pay same fee unless ur child just going to canada as a visitor not permanent resident

At canada point of entry..your cor must match ur pprt stated on COPR becos ur date of arrive will be stamp in every port that apply for PR ,BUT at nigeria airport ..how can you depart nigeria with an american port with no nigeria visa ,atleast american require visa to nigeria,am sure ur child arrive nigeria with a nigeria paszport or a nigeria visa or visa on arrival after birth and if u claim dual citizen then you need to show ur nigeria port or the law see you as an american tbat overstay in nigeria if u arrive before as an american amd still no nigeria port on departure.

At canada port you will have no issue as an american port holder ,becos it either you enter as an american on visa free to canada as as a tourist FOR 6 month maximum or a PR if you have COPR ..so either way the child will enter canada.worry more about the nigeria airport.

Do i really need that nigerian port to show them proof of dual citizenship? in my city, only 5years validity port is available and we aren’t coming back in the next 5years.. so if i’m not using it at the airport then it’s a waste. Hence my question.

Genuine question o, how do you intend to take care of a newborn and another child by yourself in a country where you’ll be staying for the first time?

if baby comes before you land and you decide have to add the child, your best bet is to add it as unaccompanying because of reason above else you want to now add and change everybody to accompanying. Not sure if VO will recalculate crs or be considerate. I know someone was able to change it recently and got PR either on here on in my whatsapp group.

Why do you want to change the children as accompanying when, in your application you had stated that they won't be accompanying? That may likely complicate matters for you.

This seems like complicating issues unnecessarily. In my opinion, you should travel now then start the process of bringing everyone, (including your wife) over when the baby is born. The PPR letter doesn’t say you should inform them of pregnancy and they’ll see the dates on the baby’s birth certificate to know he was born after you travelled, plus you can include LOE. So no rules were broken. Saying you’ll travel with a newborn and leave the mom is a bad step, it’ll raise all kinds of eyebrows plus you won’t cope.

It’s not over until it is over. When my crs was 443, i missed the last 440’s draw in march 2019 i think because of ielts remark. I thought the world was over but here i am battling with Accra to release my PR.

My sister's friend nominated her while she lived at manitoba a couple of years ago. My sister got married along the line and added her husband. She has subsequently added her kids. The additions has slowed down her applications. So yes, I wrote the test cos she is optimistic that she will travel soon n nominate me. But I am tired of waiting for her. I want to enter the pool on my own.
So I want to know if I qualify as an istrative officer officer in a State Civil Services . Thanks

3) if your wife is younger have her be PA and she should max out ielts
4) have a higher degree (msc or phd)

Hope you’re in the pool. Just be in the pool first and wait. Even before your sis is ready, you might get nominated. Ontario nominates nocs sometimes. Is your noc 1241? Google oinp occupations in demand. Google same for other provinces too, Alberta, Saskatchewan, see if your noc is there.

Well l will advice you airline and airport official ahead so you have no delay with nigeria immigration..becos to depart nigeria you need a valid nigeria port or a foreign port with valid nigeria visa..my cousin is dual port citizen too and coming to canada was a big drama at nigeria airport becos his nigeria port expire but his canadian port valid ..l wish you safe journey and pls keep the forum posted on the issue.

No I haven't entered the pool as I wasn't sure if l even qualify . I will Google the states as you suggested and keep checking on here for info on how to proceed . Thank you so much.

removing spouse from accompanying you, how many points do you get? Take the French exam

I think you can IRCC and let them know you have changed your mind and will want your family to accompany you. Since your wife and child has already fulfilled the medical requirement, you will be asked to send in all rhe ports for PR. We have seen previous posts and it adds no complications beyond time.

Firstly, Points gotten from friend is insignificant in Manitoba PNP. As such,I hope she get PPR soon.

Some provinces pick people with your NOCs randomly from the pool. However, some others like Sask will always insist that your academic qualifications align with your Job/NOC.

I hope you have age on your side and have academic qualifications higher than a B.sc degree?? Furthermore, have you look at learning french and acing your IELTS?
