Goje is quite popular but he’s having a not so good relationship with the incumbent governor.

Tinubu is not Buhari. And Bauchi people will need a reason to turn out for Tinubu. With the governor not in APC its even more difficult

This one has come again. Oga Muslim-Muslim ticket is a recipe for failure. The VP is almost certainly going to NW which will further alienate the NE. Tinubu must choose one of those NW govs who backed him else he risks alienating them. Except they choose to forgo their ambitions which I doubt since they don't have a backup plan like Senate

He is the best bet from NW but I still believe NE is getting the slot.

I would have loved the chairman of Northern governors forum Simon Lalong of plateau state. This could help douse tensions across the country, attract votes from the Middle belt and North-Central and balance the muslim/ Christian ticket parameter been clamoured for. Then we just need to depend on buharis influence and APC governors in NW and NE to win the ticket. After all tinubu wasn't on the ballot but he delivered SW to buhari in 2015 and 2019.
SW votes and NW(middle belt votes) would have been secured in the bag already if Lalong were Tinubu's running mate

Honestly for political correctness,Babagana Zulum is the only VP choice that can mitigate the agitation that would come with the Muslim-Muslim ticket. He's loved across religion because of his outstanding performance in Bornu. At the same time he'll neutralize any threat from Atiku in the north east. Buhari and Apc governors in the north west will be sufficient arsenal for the party in that zone. I expect the Apc to win that zone on aggregate.There should be no much worries in the south because Peter Obi will help deplete heavily what the pdp used to get in the SS and SE. The South West will be emphatically delivered to Tinubu. I expect Tinubu to win Niger, Kwara, Kogi, while Benue, plateau will fall to Atiku. Nasarawa can be won by either of them but with a close margin.

Taraba, Adamawa will fall to Atiku while Yobe, Bornu will fall to Tinubu. Bauchi and Gombe will be hotly contested with small margins of victory for either of the candidates.

I would love Babagana Zullum but let him continue with the good works in Borno State,

H.E Simon Lalong of Plateau state NC region is very OK.

Hon Yakubu Dogara is a Christian from Bauchi NE region also make sense too

Boss Mustapha is a Christian from Adamawa State NE region fit the bill.

On Muslim- Muslim ticket

Senator Ahmed Lawan from Yobe state NE region is good.

Senator Ali Ndume from Borno State is also fine

There are popular Senators or FHoR from the North that can play a VP role for Asiwaju Tinubu.
