WE NEED TO HEDGE SOME OF OUR POSITIONS VIA INVERSE ETF IF WE CANNOT SHORT

Was a little surprised to see the early positive movements reversing again. My consolation were DUST, TRIP, VIXY which I just bought towards the close yesterday for the purpose of hedging my position in Gold and Oil related stocks. Fear in the market is on and may even be higher tomorrow. I believe the 2nd FED speaker for the day must have pressed an adverse button. The earlier speaker BOSTIC is coming back again to speak close to market close, let us see if he will reduce the tension against the big fear for tomorrow. Good thing is that I is before market opening. So once digested, the week will be normal depending on how the I figure is perceived by the market.

On a serious note, we need to enter into one of these hedges, if we are interested in this market.

The problem with Inverse ETF is that we need to monitor it and sell when things comes back to normal, as it just a short term protection.

In the process of search I even came across HDGE , which will go up when the market is going on (we may ignore the lower volume here), if we feel the bears will continue, HDGE should be in our portfolio. It is available on folio.

TODAY IS POINTING TO A LIKELY RECOVERY DAY FOR SOME LOSSE WE HAVE SUFFERED
The premarket below is telling us that we should expect some bullish moves. Note that I have cut off the usual low price stocks that are always at the top and show us some stocks that has at least some quality.

Just an advice for the future, you should place a stop loss on stocks you buy.
It saves you from losing so much.
I lost about 30 % too, early this year and wished I had learned to use that feature.

No news will change the direction market but only shake it for few minutes , so if u are sure if ur direction , I don't think u should fear of any speech and moreover, all the stocks are on a falling wedge , don't try catch the falling knife for now, my cent though and for only that have hears alone, wonderful weekend guyz

IS TODAY A GOOD OR BAD DAY
On my side, not a bad day. And I know depending on our portfolio, it can be a good or bad day. For those in VERU, the stock still looks okay, made a gain of about 9% today before retracing back.

Overall I will rate as a fairly good day. Tommorow will be another testing period for the market with 4 Fed representatives speaking 8.00, 9.15, 14.00 and 18.45 EST. Nothing new is expected, it is all about inflation and rates. Also, we should be happy that 2 of them will speak before market opens. so market will react fast enough for us to know what big money will do, 60 minutes after the speach is okay to detect the unbiased thought of the market on any announcement.

Please we need more picks like VERU, we have now calebrated our indicators to catch a VERU early. But what prevented me fro buying VERU is the fact that we have a number of biotech stocks in our portfolio, seems these biotechs (GRTS, VBIV etc) are coming up again. Definitely this was a fantastick pick.

Wishing everybody another Green day. There seems to be some confusion among the FED, while some are saying hike rates heavily, others are saying no. Thus today, the market seems to have advised itself and decided to move UP, looking at the short term.

TODAY EVERYTHING IN THE MARKET IS UPSIDE DOWN
Today the inverse ETFs seems to be in control of the market. But they are a difficult animal to trade. To trade them effectively, you need to catch them at the top or at the bottom.
