phyl123: When observed wholistically, the Naira isnt appreciating as its still weakening against other currencies, the Dollar for example. its just the GBP weakening, even against the dollar. Dollar payments made using a GBP card 6 weeks ago was converted at a much more favourable rate than that done today. The Naira is still useless. |

Hello everyone, Kindly advice on this issue please. My Tier4 visa is expiring before month end, I have an offer already but it seems the employer is very slow with processing. Currently, I am thinking of applying for the PSW visa, can I still apply for the PSW visa a week to my visa expiry date? Read on gov.uk that I can apply before my visa ends but I want to confirm and be certain. Thank you. |

Of course you can even if it's expiring on that day as long as you meet up with the 'Date of Application' requirement which means you submit your application online before it expires. If employer reaches out while your application is still being processed, ask to vary your application. And if it's out, switch to Tier 2 creamtepid: 3 Likes 1 Share |

ProfJYK(m): 2:31pm On May 09, 2022 |
Viruses: Put in your current address. (UK) put in your previous address. (UK) Even if they both do not total to three years, (2 months in my case) you will no longer be asked for address details again. 1 Like 1 Share |

Greetings house. I know no one prays for such, but please elders, I've been wondering if one applies for PSW and along the way gets Tier 2 sponsorship and somehow manages to lose sponsorship or not being able to renew, can such a person switch back to PSW visa having not exhausted the years stipulated? |

TheGuyFromHR: 3:29pm On May 09, 2022 |
Adazeal: No. You've got to have a valid Tier 4/Student visa at the time you apply for a PS visa. |
TheGuyFromHR: 3:29pm On May 09, 2022 |
Viruses: Yes. Any address at which you have lived is valid, irrespective of whether it was a short let or a long let. 1 Like |

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I just got into the UK. ![]() Thanks to everyone for all the insight being shared on this platform. I'm trying to open a Revolut via my partner's referral code but they stated that I'll have to add another banking details before I can proceed and reward my partner with the £60 bonus. I don't have any UK yet. Revolut is suppose to be my first. Is this the right process? What do you advise? |

Lexusgs430:Traditional wedding is a legal union I believe, it is recognised by law. And the man has not yet committed bigamy until he marries the other lady in court or church, I stand to be corrected. 1 Like |

mizGene: But the customary marriage is a strange concept unlike the statutory marriage when it comes to ending it - most people usually don't bother to go through a customary court process (which is what Nigerian law states if I clearly) when it comes to dissolving it, they just end it by their own tradition (returning bride price or gifts, etc), and move on from there. Basically the principle roughly boils down to if you got married by carrying wine to collect your wife, you divorce by collecting back your wine and returning the lady (apologies to feminists). |
mizGene(f): 7:23pm On May 09, 2022 |
TheGuyFromHR: I totally agree with you. I think some ppl still go ahead to document by taking a letter or something from the traditional ruler to the court to obtain a certificate...I'm not sure of this though. 1 Like |
