I made a mistake on my application; I selected Mr. instead of Miss. My capture date is next month so I want to know if this will be a problem? Is there a way I can rectify this? All other information is correct.

This is not a problem at all.

You will still do verification at the center whether you are DIY or use agent, and what you finally fill in your file is what they will enter into the system if it is a fresh application.

Haha you are like a " foreigner " to the local govt you went to na. Go to IMO liaison office in Lagos. It should be in V.I and get it from there.

Since you're in Lagos, go to your State Liason Office. They are within VI and Ikeja GRA. I think Imo liason office is in VI. You will be issued your State Certificate of Origin.

go on the nigerian immigration port portal, click correction of data due to marriage..fill the form step by step… after completion the system will give you a reference number and then allow you to continue the process to applu for the port. You wont pay more than the port fee.

go to your liason office in Lagos or send someone in your village to LG HQ

Which of the centres? Sauka HQ staff will not be so bold to demand money for DIY applications.

I love your ending lines. Well let's be focus as this is a TRAVEL thread and not POLITICS! But all the same in as much I want to avoid the amount charged nor the processes for an international port, i still feel like I should say something because its painful.
Some of these persons are hustlers looking for a way to Japa but rather officers sees it as any1 that plans to travel out got money

Your location is a great factor to doing the right thing. Imagine you doing the right thing by paying #17,500 and one person just sits in the office to frustrate your effort when you go for capturing and collection. If only the servicom unit was active things wouldn't be this way.

Am abt to go pick up my port since is ready but I heard they aren't issuing the e port after production unless one upgrade it.

So please has anyone upgrade theirs to the new e- port? How do I go abt it without those officers billing me?
