oga gazzuz. What do you think is the issue with my Honda pilot 2007 . it has the following codes. P0420, p0138 and multiple codes indicating multiple cylinder misfire. The car runs , though with lags in acceleration. The check engine light come on for some days and off for some days. Thanks

fix the obvious issue of ATF leaking and top up with original DW. Then scan for codes. All the best.

I scanned and got two codes which you can see below, I also decided to drain the ATF and pour 5 litres of honda Dw1 into my transmission.

I will bring s as we progress, because it was done today

The P0016 basically means the engine ECU has noticed the camshaft and crankshaft positions are out of sync.

Specifically the camshaft on the exhaust cam of bank1.

The OCV oil ages might be blocked with RTV silicone (I see that a lot)

O rings not installed in oil ages for camshaft actuators

Faulty OCV (exhausts bank1)

Faulty actuator (exhausts bank1)

Did you try fixing 3 sec cold start rattle?

Car: Honda Accord 2004 2.4L i4
Problem noticed: Car drives well on a free road. After getting stuck in traffic for some mins, hard shifting is noticed (having to get to RPM to shift to the next gear). Then there is a kickback when downshifting (taking the leg off throttle). Once I park by the road side, engine off and back on, it resets. Until the next traffic.
This mostly happens after a long drive

CEL is off
Car scanned: Codes- P0685, P0780, P1734 (PCM/ECM power relay circuit control malfunction, problem in shift control system and shift solenoid valves B and C stuck on respectively)


What's the possible solution to this?

My ride is 2006 honda accord v6, that I have been using for 6yrs.
My driving experience are similar to yours, my transmission began slipping last week. I have drained the Atf and poured fresh 6litres of dw1 atf, still the problem persists. So I have decided to change the transmission entirely with a tokunboh one.

bought a toyota camry 09 last yr sep and the thermostat havn’t been removed yet while the fan is still in automatic mode when Engine is hot or will start when Ac is On.. recently am having issue with the temperature going to “H” whenever i drive 3hrs journey or drive very far. also i have been filling my Radiators every 3days or must be filled first once am sure am driving very far and also had extra water in my boot in order not to hang me in Express, anyone having this issue on his or her Toyota Camry and did u guyz think i should goto Mechanic and remove the thermostat for the Fan to be on steady
