For a newbie, I wouldn't advise anything other than dot coms. But if you're sure you've read through the thread, making your own mistake is probably the next step there is to take.

Plus Assu Strike 1 year, NySc at least 2 years...+ some few carry overs...let's say 1 year+ jamb waiting period...I forget waec too+ d normal 1 yr sitting 4 house brainstorming and waiting 4 dt imaginary job+ if u cum lucky get npower, at least 1 year to take teach for sch too...+++++

All about priorities...ppl dedicate time for what they think is important...I had to quit blogging and my Android game design course I bought at Udemy to go into Domaining fully....if everything set I go still come back to them...but one thing a time. Ppl priotize what they think is important.

mehn this one wey you dey use argue,you go don read like ten pages.As everywhere dry for me I started reading the thread again few weeks ago and I have read over a thousand pages and I am still reading.

Simple advice.

Do not test the waters with .xyz extension, Don't.

Test it with .com ( cause $10 reg will make you serious)

You have to know what is good about a domain. Metrics to consider.

What type of domain you want to sell? GEO brandable, EMD?

If you cant differentiate and know the difference then.....

Year 2020 is a year to ooo, maybe some newbies prefer to learn in a hard way by getting their fingers burnt.

Almost everyone made newbie mistakes but don't make expensive one. When you see people putting you on the right track for you not to make the same mistake they make. I think your best bet is to humble yourself and do the needful.
