Energy stocks recovered back towards close of market. Equally the blockchain tokens are back on a fairly strong note this morning and Chinese stocks are likely to continue their bull run, this new Covid seems not to be attracting the attention of the market (Russia Ukraine crisis seems to ba a more serious matter?).

WHICH BROKER IS THE BEST AT THE MOMENT- FOLIO IS FAIR

Very interesting reading on the above. From my current experience up to14 March 2022, I will chose FOLIO as the best out of the Apps Nigerians can easily open with.

The obvious caveat is that we better limit ourself to the the simple side of the app: do not use margin, avoid pro and I am sure you will be okay and thank me later.

For me the fact that after the entrance fee (look at my previous post, this is1% to 1.5%), you then trade commission free as long as your money is in the system.

For those saying Trove, it is 1% commission for each trade, plus as at now platform is not too friendly and dump customer service, plus the fact that payments are sometimes delayed until you send repeated mails.

Realy this matter interest me and I attached some of the negative reviews on folio. However, I see no big deal in thes negative reviews as long as you observe the caveat earlier mentioned. The rates is now okay, they cannot hold your money if you have not made mistake (for this reason, I avoid using my card for transfer, I do it from my bank). Also you need to check some of those negative reviews, if they are early 2021, then know that that review is likely to be outdated.

For now I can say my experience with folio on average is far better than the push and pull with Trove. I can give folio 60%, Chaka 50% and Trove 20%. Please open your with anyone you like and then please inform us of your discovery. On most other matter they are all same, you get nearly same exchange rate (money is converted at parallel market rates).

Finally, apart from no commission with folio, you can buy blockchain/metaverse tokens. Thus you have more product options to consider. Nevertheless, we should continue to look for better brokers that will reduce our current headaches with Trove/Chaka and co.

Market not looking too bad. But with 2 Fed Reps speaking today, I will not expect any big move.

We need to learn to sell or trade our postions from time to time. The big traders we try to follow take 4% as big profit (4% of $5k). That is why a maximum of 2% loss looks okay for them. With our $10 stock buy, I am sure we will not sell at 4% profit, we want 20% profit. Thus, why we are still holding a stock the big money has already sold and is waiting for the next buying opportinity This hustle is not easy, but we know there is money here, we will continue to see how we can improve our trades.

This market is something alse today. With FED people speaking at 14.00hrs & 16.05hrs ET, today is likely to go to the bears.

It is painful, but we are still keeping on. We need to go back to our Trading strategies and see how we can make things better. Not necessarily changing our strategies but to get more familiarized with our system. At this point, one feel like exiting those trades that are at risk, but we will still obey our system

MARKET HAD AN EXCEPTIONALLY BULLISH DAY TODAY 13 APRIL
13th is a fearful day for many people, especially in Nigeria. However, market made is a smiling day today. We bought GOGL.

Also we recommended a good stock that has just broken our to the upside to our paying . I look forward to this stock to mistakenly pullback tommorrow and I will immediately buy it. The stock was recommended due to tge sector that the stock is in a sector that is on fire at the moment.

I watched it rise from $6-$13 on Monday.
This was after the company announced positive data from a phase 3 clinical trial of its Covid-19 treatment, sabizabulin.

After a dropping to $10ish on Tuesday, it gained 42% on Wednesday to close at $14.30.
Over the next few weeks, the company will meet with the FDA and intends to file a request for an EUA shortly.

This one will rise to $25-$35 soon.
I said it’s a good news with VERU: that’s because it’s also on Trove this one.
Short term profit imminent.
I’m in tomorrow.

ATER has had a great few days, and may be a risky game now.
A quick look shows it would have been great to get on board like a week ago. Extended hours/premarket confirms my opinion that not enough gas in the tank may be left at the moment just yet.

I LIKE THIS MARKET- TRADING IS LIKE A MILITARY OPERATIONS (WHEN IN DANGER "ACT FAST" ASK QUESTION LATER)

When the market opened bearish yesterday (14 April), for us it was unexpected. We were monitoring all our trades closely and we saw one of our profitable stocks closing lower (we were in profit on the trade, and have already sacrificed some gains already), it was a time to ask no question we just sold half of our holding. The good news is that yesterday was the ex-div day for the stock, but as at the time we sold, we are simply obeying an important trading rule by Warren Buffet. "never let a profit turn to a loss" .

However, the happy ending was that 14th was the ex-div date for the stock, so no cause for alarm, thank God we have now included the criteria; day after last div into our scanner. We can look to buy back the stock if it meets our trading system criteria and if it is losing strength against the market we sell no story no thinking.
