By inference, I can put that the ONLY PERSON you know in Imo State is that dubious officer at the port office. Interesting!

I have a feeling that your port is ready just as stated earlier, but you can only confirm through a channel other than that officer of yours.

Another suggestion: NIS on Twitter or Facebook, provide your enrolment number and enquire if your port is ready.

All these suggestions won't cost you a dime, just commitment.

Flew to the North(Sokoto) and applied and got the port same day for 35k.

Pls what type of document do you take along and besides I’m applying has fresher

The form you filled must be dully completed so you will print it out (it's 3 pages) with your port photograph 2. Then your guarantor must give you a port photograph to attach to your guarantor form, at the back of your guarantor port it must have his/her name and signature

I paid online fees and he's saying there's nothing he can do since I reg online. Plz when do I need to go for filing before capturing or on the capturing date. What document do I need to take along for my baby port.

After capturing, you should have been given a slip containing your enrolment number.
With the enrolment number, you can always check if your port is ready or not.

It was a backdoor thing, I submitted only the guarantor's port data page and declaration of age document.
I knew somebody so didn't have to do things officially which is stressful.

Done with the capturing , applied on the 03/03/22 and got a capturing date for today which is 04/04/22
Arrived at 9:00 am and left around 9:30 am I spent barely 20 minutes and got done , the only thing I was asked to bring was 2 port photograph

My collection date is 09/05/22

Please I need some guidance, my port expired 5yrs but I lost it almost 3yrs ago,I would want to know my fate because I learnt from a Immigration officer that a "lost case" would be applied.

I also learnt from a friend on here that I should go for a "renewal", now if I go for that won't I be asked of the original port? Though I have the photocopy.

Wow, that's good. Can you the actual date you did the capturing. My application was strictly on DIY, the officcers are reluctantly to help out.
