Small bump doesn't necessarily mean small baby though there's an estimated weight baby ought to attain at each weekly milestone, body size sometimes matter and the elasticity of the womb (donno if my choice of word is correct). I know a family of grown up women where when they are pregnant, the tommy firsts shoots out and at 4 /5 months you will think they will soon deliver until you catch them carrying on in the next 4/5 months before delivery, that did not make the babies come out as multiple or even measuring 4kg(lol) and the tommy stays pointed no matter what they drink or tie

Enjoy yourself sis.. If I see now sef I will eat even though I didn't like it as much when I wasn't pregnant cos it itches my throat but now I must not see it without tasting it. There's virtually no fruit I've not eaten to satisfaction in this journey except the much dreaded pineapple.

True my bump is not big like what I am seeing around so it’s surprising to see my baby weigh 3.14

u sure ur EDD is correct... Cs d week u gave didnt tale wit ur gestational weeks... U senior me wit 2days n i am 35weeks+6days... EDD date r exactly 40weeks, if u r 37weeks now ur EDD shld b march 15 n not 22..... N 4 d graded placenta u gaz discuss wit ur doc ... If u well, we discussed this placenta grading early dis month on dis forum.

this is d reason y i said she shld speak to her doc... Grade 4 placenta means d placenta is mature, n wen placenta is too mature it rip out of d uterus wall causin complications.. Pls do not wait 4 EDD Date... Speak to ur doctor abt early inductn... Take d baby out to avoid story dt touch o... Ani ri aburu... Ameen.

Nt evrytym, once in a while, whenever I notice d leg has seriously swollen nd irritating me but not in a very hot water oo, jt warm water and always massage it even if U didn't put in warm water(I always do d massage at night though wen am ready to slip)

1. Longitudinal lie/breech presentation: baby is still actively turning and it's not an issue for now.

2. Anterior placenta: also not an issue, it just shows where the placenta is in relation to the fetus. In front of it (anterior) or at the back (posterior)

3. Adequate liquor: normal/ enough amniotic fluid. Not too small and not in excess

4. Internal os is closed: as it should be for now, it will open as the body preps for labour

Edd according to LMP was 19 but I had 2 Edd so I dropped the latter, I am currently 36+4 but the fetal age is 37 weeks probably because of his size. I will discuss with him tomorrow

My mum even asked me if I am expecting twins yesterday evening, me that was thinking my bump is not huge, I had to be defending my bump that I don almost reach finish line what does she expect

Speak to your doctor about the acid reflux. Asides from antacids, there are drugs to combat this and help you feel comfortable as much as possible.

It was a planned pregnancy. I'd been taken preconception drugs 4months prior to get ahead of the 9 months journey because I had miscarriage 2 times, 1 threatened abortion that led to stillbirth sometimes way back.

I was eager to be team December because I was born in December and my wedding anniversary is December also. We failed for 2 months because dh had pile. I was frustrated ttc. On 3rd cycle of ttc, I wasn't into it anymore but just cruising then we hit the jackpot and got bfp.

The bfp was a mixed feeling, happy and also scared of the unknown. Hmmm, I put my faith in God, took my prenatal religiously and ed for antenatal at 6weeks. I asked for precautionary drugs to prevent miscarriage, the doctor laughed it off that no need. Said since I had carried to full term twice before, I could do it again and to be positive except there was cause for alarm.

I was vigilant, checking always and like play I ended 1st trimester with a progressive scan result. Then I started relaxing, tried to bd with dh afterwards, 20 weeks scan was perfect...

Fast forward towards the end of 3rd trimester. Went for final scan at 35weeks, everything was excellent and I started counting down to D-day.

Just last week Saturday, I entered week 39. Tired of waddling so I watched video on YouTube to induce labour. Just on Monday, while eating Amala for supper, I thought it was the usual Braxton kicks but it kept increasing with time. I checked time, it was 11: 45. Then I knew it was time. I called dh to be home quickly.
When he got home, we arranged for who to stay with the kids then headed to hospital. I was ed by 12:35. My cervix was checked and it was confirmed that I was dilating. I was told to lie down on my side with my legs crossed by the knees.

I played the christian delivery song I ed, Google delivery Bible verses and started confessing it. At each contraction, I would pause, thanked God or repeat hallelujah till I was relieved. By 1:30am, I was checked again and was asked to remain on the delivery table. This time, the contraction was consistent and I felt like pooing, I was asked to push that the baby's head had engaged. With 3 pushes, I heard the cry of my princess by 1: 55am weighing 3.5kg. Then placenta was brought out. A shout of Hallelujah filled the air.

Now I'm feeling dizzy and it's early morning. Help me manage it pls. The experience can't be put in words perfectly except a personal encounter.

Safe delivery to every pregnant woman and may the Lord open the womb of all ttc mothers for fruits of womb.

That's basically a way to grade the maturity of the placenta on an ultrasound.

At this stage, you are in grade 1 which is normal, as the placenta matures more you should reach grade 2 around 30 weeks.

i c... Dey r using d size to age the baby... Anyway... It doesnt matter anym, baby needs to b out immediately bcs of ur graded placenta.
