Triggerlly: In the USA, you use the actual point on the of which it is. E.g 2. something / 5. something. With that ‘we’ will know what to advise you on. That aside, with a low CGPA, you can easily do RESULT EVALUATION to USA STANDARD which the final result would be a scale of 4.0. Most schools there works on 4.0 scale (most not all). That also aside, you can and should write out your mind and soul out inside your STATEMENT OF PURPOSE/INTENT on how and why you had a low CGPA during your UG, and how you go about beating that now with a high GRE score and so on (you detailed working experience on your CV) etc. Shalom! 4 Likes |

I had 1.82cgpa on scale of 5.0, with 325 GRE score, are there schools that consider such cgpa grade in respect to the gre score that I can apply to?

Triggerlly: Wow ur Gre score is very high. Is your course under stem? |
emmanuelle27: 11:12am On Dec 30, 2021 |
Triggerlly:GPA too low, GRE too high, the least I have seen US Universities accepting is 2.5/4, do you have plenty work experience? Or maybe you can improve your chances by doing PGD related to what you wantu do and smashing it, adding it to your high GRE will give you a big chance, Also write TOEFL to increase your options 1 Like 2 Shares |

habbyy03: That was what I had. I was itted and graduated. Evaluate your undergrad grade with WES 7 Likes |
Muleriders: 12:15pm On Dec 30, 2021 |
Triggerlly: If you have a student copy of your transcript. Go to WES website, use the free calculator to evaluate it to 4.0. Quote me on the outcome. You have a good GRE score. So we should target schools that use "GPA + GRE score" to decide ission. You should get a conditional ission with this combo. Looking forward to your replies 9 Likes |

emmanuelle27: 12:24pm On Dec 30, 2021 |
habbyy03:yeah, like I said, there are US schools that accept 2.5/4 and above, just use Google, getting funding will now depend on other aspects of your profile like GRE, SOP, LOR and work experience 1 Like |

Cessnk:Yo! What’s up |
emmanuelle27: 12:28pm On Dec 30, 2021 |
Triggerlly:Not really, but you can mention it in your SOP and add the transcript as a one year program you did to demonstrate that you've improved since after your undergraduate studies, it goes a long way 1 Like |
