Sometimes it better assume or imagine than Experience if you where there you wouldn't do a thing, at the point any careless move will result to two casualties, when trying to rescue someone you think of your own safety First. If you watch Carefully you will notice it was when the Guy get close to him that was when he jumped into the Water.

I was surprised and thought it was a prank when I first saw this online. How the heck could someone just video record a man about to take his life? Drop your phone, hold him by his shirt or shorts, others will come to your help and the fool will be rescued. The bigger fool just recorded the incident for what purpose, I do not know. May his conscience torment him forever more for not taking a single step to help humanity. May he not receive help when he needs it most. Wasted Idiot.

Meanwhile #Suicide is never an option. #Never!!!
