Hi everyone! Please I’m in a fix and I don’t understand what’s going on. I applied for a fresh port at Festac Immigration office and I also captured there since 16th of August 2021. I did it myself so I wasn’t given any collection date but was simply told to wait at least 6 weeks and I’d get a text when it’s ready. Well, it’s been over 3 months, no text, nothing. Every time I checked my application status it said vetted until last night when I checked and it said my application has been expired. No further explanation. I checked many times and tried to track it via the portal and it says no records. I’ve been on google all night yet I’ve not found a single place where anyone complained about this kind of stuff. Abeg what style of village people is this? Nb: I went the DIY way so there’s no one I can go and meet directly at the Festac office. Pls guys, I need advice on the way forward. I need this port asap. Kindly visist their office to complain. Ask of the PCO or servicom desk. I plan doing that as well. The facebook page is no longer useful

I got there as early as possible. Around 7 and captured before 10.
Left immediately my old port and the 6digit piece of paper was handed to me.

Is there anyone here who did capturing on or after 4th October that has gotten theirs? Or if you know anyone who did capturing on or after 4th October that has gotten theirs? Thank you. O have tried messaging the facebook page but they didn't reply after seeing it.

I finally went to immigration HQ today in Abuja.......omoh, if you're DIY...... Oyo is your case. There complain was that i picked a title from title bar like pastor, imam, engr, Dr etc.......they said i will have to follow a no other process for that to be removed. They said it will delay my port maybe up to 3 months which i don't hope it stays up to that period, though I've done the biometrics.... Any body had similar issue before?

I got this same update from a at Alausa who said that by first week in December, September should be concluded.

Please is there anyone going to abeokuta to check his or her own. I did my capturing around August 26, please incase you go there, please do let us know what is happening there, cus right now I'm really fed up and I have to go to work, have not been chanced to go, I want to be sure it's out before asking for a day to go.... would really appreciate thanks

As long as your documentation is complete, you can do your capture within 3 hours after submission without special assistance from anybody.

P.S I was there on Monday.

As at Monday, the 32 page booklet is unavailable in NIS HQ. Applicants are encouraged to apply for the 64-page booklet if they need the port for emergency purposes.

However, if there were booklets as at the time of your capture, your port should be ready by now.

But for someone that have captured for 32pgs in another state is it possible they allow the person do 64pgs in there Hq since its emergency for me?
