Designers in the house I want to know how long on the average do you take to complete your projects. As a newbie designer that I am, I want to know how long I can take to deliver projects.

Can you complete a hectic project in a day? If yes, what are the resources that you use that makes possible for you.

It depends on the type of design you're cooking.

You can't expect the time it takes to design a business card to be the same as it'll take to design a brochure or a new logo or a product wrap.


If you have a pre-built template, you should be able to finish the design under 48hrs (again it depends on the type of design you're putting together).

But if you're crafting a design afresh, you have to consider the time it'll take you to visualize how you or the client want the design to be like, the gathering of resources, the sketch and all other design process. So, I'd say 72hrs.

Design shouldn't be done under pressure so as to have better ideas flowing through while you as the creator flow along and create room for adjustments.

This will make you produce better output for your client.

It depends on the project length, specifications, event schedule etc.
Some clients prefer express work (with less than 24hrs delivery time). Some others prefer 3-7 days duration. Some even prefer like 2 weeks.

Urgency is also a key factor. For instance, if someone died in the morning, his/her family might decide to make an obituary (flyer) that day(before evening). That's an Express job. Another example is birthday. Someone might decide to create a congratulatory flier for a boss, parent, friend etc after seeing birthday post (on say, their Facebook or WhatsApp status). That's also Express job.

Yes! If it's a must-do project. But I'll forfeit my night (sleep) as well.

I wanna learn graphic deg.

It depends on the kind of job, but approximately 6hrs, I used to be a graphic designer back then, but I stopped deg 2017 or thereabouts just to focus on cryptocurrency, forex and digital marketing.

Depends on the kind of job...some jobs takes weeks some take hours too.

I love graphic designers

When I was still active in graphic deg, the time of deg(start to finish) depends on the work/job.

Some won't take more than 30 minutes, let me just say an hour.
While some take days.

I like to acquire this skill for freelance purpose. But I don't know if I can get jobs on freelance websites such as Fiverr and upwork, considerng the calibre of designers already there. What do you think sir?

Never you give out a job in Nigeria online , they are all scammers ... if you need job just go to fiverr and find sharp oyibo there that will deliver your job with uttermost honesty ...

I have tried naija web designers and graphics designers and I can 100% say naija is gone ... no honesty , every body lies like it’s drinking water and they can waste your time and frustrate you badly

No wonder dangote opted for Indians and Pakistanis for his refinery when we have many Nigerian engineers out there ..

In this country every body is a serious liar and a low key scammer

I design for myself only. It takes me a couple of hours.

The question is quite vague

Most of my friend deliver based on the motivation level (money most times). I am a best friend to graphics designer and IT guru because i give you what you need. Power bank for laptop and mifi that allows you to work for extended hours. 080653..163.07

sometimes I'm lazy to deliver especially when I know the job wont take time but I always stick to the agreed time of delivery and have never disappointed a client.....sometimes delivering early makes clients thinks the job is easy some jobs takes much longer and to be sincere if you are a good Creator you must have noticed that designs have moods and seasons it flows, trying to design when that mood is not there will make you do a poor or similar job. I never ever get satisfied with my designs I always feel theres a better improvement that can always be made tho my clients are happy and satisfied but I'm always telling myself that something better could be done...maybe it's the Introvert and design spirit in me tho.....Graphics designers don full everywhere for NIGERIA and the funny thing is that those who rely on templates are actually getting more jobs that those who create and design from scratch...na God hand all of us dey....if you have a job for me please holla my charges are pocket friendly.
