The hyperinflation is bad especially when compare her to next door neighbour Cote d'ivoire. No country has developed on a foundation of flea market. Your informal retail and wholesale need to give way to formal retails - I mean supermakets and malls - because it benefits the consumers, the retailers, the manufacturers and gov better when things are organized. With a supermarket - a manufacturer knows he can get large order so they produce more - the consumers will get very low prices (this what is drawing kenyans away from small retailers) because discounts in there are bigger and shopping way better experience - the retailer hire more people and generate more profit selling more - the gov get way more taxes - than trying to chase a million informal traders around town.

The same for all other sectors - agricluture, services, industries, ICT, housing, name it - they need to formalize - because of ECONOMIES OF SCALES - if not you should at least try cooperatives - which give you communism like bargaining power.

The system will soon spread over the country. Ghana isn't rich as singapore nor Oslo but there is model of development here and it is expected to work . And if you have checked Ghana history long enough you will realised Ghana has always strive to be first in almost every good indices . For instance, Ghana is the first country in sub saharan africa to first halve her poverty ratio way ahead of the global deadline in 2015.

Development in Ghana is cut across, Accra shouldn't win it all,... City such as Tamali and takoradi are fast rising. I will not be interested in one city development here as we have in some africa city . Development should cut across every regional capital and not necessarily the istrative capital only.

Infrastructure wise, Accra is already developing. They're ongoing project just everywhere in the city . From flying over to new road or expansion of the old ones

Kenya has issues - hyperinflation is one one of them. We have very stable macro-econonomics but we have a big problem with debt - that is dangerously on the cliff. We simply need to stop borrowing - and focus on refinancing - and on PPP for financing infrastracture. We need to sell more than 200 SOES that kenya gov owns.
