Weekly recap,
I finally opened the position on Gold but I had made a miscalculation with my entry.

I'm still confident about my bias but since I have made a poor entry,I was left with my emotions almost taking control of the situation.

I understand that I may meet such circumstances when I'm live so I decided to manage it logically. I'm risking a total of my EU profits if it goes really bad on the trade.

The goal is to tame my emotions to a reasonable level and avoid the frequent recurrence of today's mistake.

E.g if you pay €155 for a $10,000 , if you lose $1000, you have lost the even though you have 9,000 left in the portfolio- it becomes useless. Try simulating their parameters with demo, if you meet their required objectives twice, then you should do their challenge.

There's no shortcut to CHART TIME.

I assure you i use a trading style the fx theological community might frown against
That's the reason my trade history is locked.
I don't want the energy or argument on my style of trade management practices

I don't really know if i should be posting my P/L weekly,
I might open my trade explorer history on the last weekend of every month.

If I may ask, you trade without stop loss? and if trade goes against you, you enter recovery trade? If that's the case, better use % equity as stop loss.

No i don't use stop losses,
Yes i do enter recovery trade by hedge, average or martingale which ever fits the bill.

% equity stop isn't a bad idea at one time i thought of incorporating it to my system but i rather hedge it out.

That's not the reason why u are losing sir.. Go back to the drawing board n ask yourself what's actually wrong
Not a quick rich scheme n top of it all be patient n do what works for u.. I have been using phone to make analysis for the past 3yrs.. Goodluck

I only use mobile to manage or monitor never for entry setup.
You have to treat the trade as a business, i mean like a real job.

I use both. And I know people that trade profitably using mobile phones.

But it's not easy using a mobile phone, especially for a beginner.

That shouldn't stop you from using what you have for a start.

I started with my mobile phone. It's only in January that I got a laptop.

It contributed to my growth.

This is the only thing I do with my laptop:

For analysis during weekends. Every other thing is from my phone.

I use my laptop to know the number of pips I will risk using the Crosshair.

The number of pips and area of target.

I can view each candle correctly. What looks big or long on your mobile phone can just be 40 or 50 pips.

You can't see most professionals use mobile phones for analysis or training.

In a nutshell,

Start with a mobile phone if that's what you can afford. When you have money, get a laptop.
