With Yousef and Emmanuel in that lineup, Liquorose' s fans would massively vote for Emmanuel and WMG would be forced to forgive Cross and use him or Angel to vote against Pere. It is actually funny that most Maria fans like you fell for WMG agenda that Pere spoilt her game. Pere has his own fanbase that also ired Maria. The Housemates were just smart enough to put both of them up for eviction at once. Patriots needed to save Pere and focused on him alone. Other Maria friends fanbase including Liquorose decided not to save her, this may be their strategy.
