But you should understand that a "realistic" price is very very subjective and means different things for different people.

Also, I was focusing more on the things that we can control. Of course we cannot control the financial difficulties and greed of seller's here, but we can control and even champion a course that ensures buyers here are better informed and consistently do due their diligence before purchase. That's one of the surest ways seller's with "unrealistic" prices will punk out (in your words... ) in not time.

Sadly, dictating the price people should sell their stuffs here (especially when you are not an independent body) is not only weird, but also unsustainable and counter-productive.

Understand that competing/conflicting priorities are at play here - sellers (not only middlemen, but also direct owners) wanting to make the most money from their wares, and buyers wanting to buy at the cheapest prices.

Only the market forces of demand and supply (and buyer due diligence) can fix prices that will balance out both priorities.

If seller's fix unrealistic prices, buyers won't buy. And buyers negotiate prices like the item is stolen, seller's won't sell.

So before this thread gets heated for the umpteenth time for this same issue, let us direct our efforts instead towards enlightening buyers to always do due diligence before buying stuffs here.

I'm sure that fridge is more than a year old and the price of Tokunbo of this fridge last year was around 65K.

So, do the maths after a year of usage, that is no clearance at all.

You are right. Except this is not a market place. It's a CLEARANCE THREAD. And that makes a lot of difference.

You can't put a price tag of millions on a kettle you inherited from your grandma and expect me and others not to shout and judgement.

Anyway no be una fault. Na super mod we need on the double to be banning posts and offers that don't qualify as clearance. Only then will you people understand what clearance means.
