This FIRS matter is really something else, since the turn of the year, I have never seen any controversial and confusing situation that has sent all hopefuls into temporal limbo as that of this FIRS replacement before. Different information has been dished out since the year started... some said it's April, some said it's June, some said it's August, some said it's September, some others believe it's October-December... while another cabal have been drumming for next year from inception, as they strongly believe this year isn't feasible as the Chairman said sometime ago.
From the aforementioned, it's highly likely that these various school of thoughts that got different information from their sponsors relayed what they heard from the sponsors. But with the recent controversy bedevling the agency, it's safe to assume that this year is not feasible at all..... if for anything, I guess just a few will get apls secretly this year.
It's quite demoralising to be in the dark... the fear of the unknown is at work, although, all hope can't be lost

New intakes resumed work from the 2nd week of August. If you are a hopeful follow up with your sponsor and ask what your delay is, cos you should have at least heard something since.

NDIC usually do medicals, then APL, documentation/ induction/training, posting, then resumption

Yes, maybe you didn't take the exam on the day and between the time frame I guess.
