Hello House, Please what is your advise on Mazda Millennia 01/02 V6 high mileage car for personal use. Seller claimed "Nothing to fix, at 450k". Need advise before engagement. |
molybdenum0012: 8:40am On Jul 24, 2021 |
GAZZUZZ: I think it was 5k then and now it is 6500 The mechanic used same Oando oil yesterday for the servicing |
molybdenum0012: 8:45am On Jul 24, 2021 |
Aanumi16: Yes. About 5k miles |
molybdenum0012: 8:50am On Jul 24, 2021 |
olumzzz: You are right, I saw the oil when it was drained yesterday, it was dark and dirty, and even sticky. Please, what should be the better, but economical oil to use next servicing? And for this present Oando i am using what mile should I replace it? Thanks |

Whenever I start my car in the morning, it starts normally but I'd perceive the smell of raw fuel from the exhaust, which goes away shortly. If I now park the car for like some hours during the day and want to start it again. It would crank a lot longer before starting. If it starts it would be as if it's choking for a few seconds before it finally picks up. At that point when it feels like it's choking, there would be black smoke from the exhaust and smell of unburnt fuel from the exhaust as well. But once it picks up after a few seconds, everything runs well, no more black smoke or smell of unburnt fuel. What could be the possible issue. I can't scan for now as I'm in a remote area. Car is 2007 Toyota corolla. Cc. Gazzuzz, kingreign, and many others. |

molybdenum0012: drain your oil every 1000 miles in the next 3 oil changes . (To clean up the damage caused ) After that stick to 2000 miles if you intend using mineral engine oil 1 Like 1 Share |

molybdenum0012: With a moniker like molybdenum, you should know a lot about engine oil. Molybdenum is an engine oil additive, because it's so good at reducing friction, Molybdenum has become a common additive to oil. When you hear someone use the term "Moly oil", they're actually talking about a lubricant that has had Moly added to it. Over the years, Moly oil has become one of the types of oil on the market. Have you ever heard of the brand Liqui Moly engine oil ? 1 Like |

obidevine(m): 11:44am On Jul 24, 2021 |
molybdenum0012: Liqui Moly engine oil is made in and is also available in Nigeria |

molybdenum0012:That odometer is calibrated in miles. Divide 3,000 km by 1.6 to get the value for subsequent oil changes in miles. P.S. My oga has spoken. Change at 1k miles for next 3 oil changes and do not exceed 2k miles subsequently. 1 Like |
