If you are currently and legally resident in Dubai.... I honestly don't see a reason why you can't apply for a student visa with a Dubai bank statement in your name.
As for the TB....you won't be needing the test if you are going to apply from Dubai.

Please just documents that proves that you are legally resident in Dubai and you will be fine.

You may not need to start again...rather make a payment of 60k + naira to your school for tuition to buffer the withdrawal

Do not depend on them. They are most likely to frustrate you with demands of various documentation and still end up not providing you with funds.

No cosigner loans are usually impossible to get especially for international students in the UK because of the outrageous interest rate. Before you are able to pay up...your visa might have already expired

Hi scobyy2007, am heading to Bristol this Sept family of 6. We've been looking at hotels and short-term accommodation pending when we get a house but everything online seems so expensive for a large family.

I want to assume you are in Bristol? Could you please make a suggestions area or close cities to Bristol student's with dependents can easily get accommodation.

I have done some research too for cwmbran, newport, cardiff,Swindon. I wanted to know your recommendation in of jobs and cost of living in those places i listed,I believe this will help alot of us heading to Bristol .

Also if anyone else can suggest and assist with the above it will be highly appreciated.

Good morning gurus in the house, I had asked this before but no response.
I realized that the address on my bank statement is different from the address on my CAS. I already booked my biometrics appointment but still ing documents since I chose self service. I am thinking of going to the bank to update my bank address so it can match that of the CAS, but they told me it will take 72hrs to effect. This bank statement was what I showed the school before they issued a CAS. My biometrics is on Friday and I’m worried about the address issue.
The main address I used on my application is where my husband and I reside
The correspondence address is different, that’s the one in my CAS.
So I feel having a different address entirely in the bank statement might be bad.

No not an issue provided both banks are regulated by the government. I used POF as follows:

1. FBN (USD)
2. Foreign (EU) in EUR
3. SCB (NGN)

use oanda for the conversion to GBP.

However I printed my statement last week after the money has been in my since April.

Will my balance be checked if I submit my application?

You can pay the money you’ve spent to the uni as part of your tuition fees and continue with your POF.

On the flip side. The address on your Tb certificate doesn’t really matter.

As long as your chest is recorded as normal and no Tb detected, then you’re fine.

But if you don’t mind spending the N8500, then you can go and change it at IOM.

Pls how possible is this? The priority for the main applicant and standard for others.

If you have a choice, I will suggest to try VI. Based on my experienceas a family of 3, I could only get a date for self service for one person as there were no available slot. What I did was to choose assisted service and some dates opened up in August. I then went there for a walk in. Wall in crowd yesterday and today is massive. I got there at 6am yesterday but couldn't enter as the slots for walk in was exhausted. I was able to do biometrics today based on the list the porter took yesterday. Those that got there at 3am this morning have not had a chance to enter as at when I left there.

Too much story I guess, but it is just to say...if you have the extra means, please go to VI.

Unless you have a transit visa, you shouldn't be looking at Air
