Purchased a microtek 1.5kva inverter last year with two batteries and had them connected just to the lights (security lights outside as well) fan and television. Used it and never witnessed the battery every going off. Sometimes we use it 10pm in the night till 7 in the morning and it remains on. Recently we had a light surge in the area and our inverter got damaged and stopped working. After giving it to a technician to repair it has become a shell of its past self. The lights keep flickering whenever it's on and the worst part is that it no longer lasts. We are lucky if it stays up to 3 4 hours with minimal load. I don't know if I should get a new inverter or whether the batteries too were affected by the power surge

sorry about that, i think they have *kazeeemed* your precious inverter. u should have taken it to an authorized service center. it is best u get a new one.

I got a brand new 1.2kva modified sine wave inverter and a 220ahs tubular battery 2 weeks ago (both are mpower product). I normally charge it with nepa light since I can't afford solar s yet, last week I used it and it beeped that the battery is low after which I put it off, I charged it with Nepa light for 11hours but to my greatest surprise it didn't use up to 15mins, the inverter display is indicating charging when connected to Nepa light but the battery bar on the inverter display isn't increasing, please what could the problem be

But, I think that inverter can not sufficiently charge a tubular battery as tubular batteries require high charging voltages. You need to get an external charger to avoid more damage to the battery.

Try to get a voltmeter to check the battery voltage when charging

I checked the voltage of the battery and it's 11.89v. I charge it again for 1hr and after checking, it's 11.84v. It's not increasing

Pls do you know any authorized Microtek repair center in PH or Lag? Esp in PH.
I also have a faulty 1.1Kva Microtek inverter, it stopped connecting to mains or charging batteries but it inverts, gave it to a technician and he worsened the situation, it won't invert nor charge nor connect to mains anymore. Infact he burnt an I.C on the board

I got a Mercury PureSine anyways but I still want to fix my Microtek
