Ok, This nearly happened with me. We bonded on 2go and talked for a long while before we decided to see. On that fateful day, we decided the time to meet should be 12pm but by 11.30pm I was at the fast food restaurant standing at one corner to observe if the lady is what I am seeing online.

By 12.30pm she called she was at the fast food (I still can't understand why ladies find it out to keep to time especially during outings this is by the way though) and I noticed while we were communicating she was not the exact image of what I saw online infact I nearly japa but as I just decided well make I just treat her nice after all she took out her time for us to see.

We barely talked for one hour and I noticed the morale wasn't there to go along, I just interrupted her and told her I need to be someone as at that time. I paid for our meals and we bade goodbyes.

But how can a lady look good in pictures and bad in person, can someone explain? Let's make it fun, share your experiences.

Met one one Facebook. She looked. Sumptuous on her profile picture. Although all of pictures were filtered. I just had to assume she's one hell of a beauty.


Luckily while scrolling through her profile, I noticed we were going to the same higher institution.

Sent her a dm. We bonded marvelously well. I arranged a met up in my house .

We decided meet in school after our different lectures so that we can go to my house directly from there because locating my house in school is harder than ultimate search.

The day came. I was first to be done with lectures. Called her, she said she was still having lectures. I had to wait for her somewhere.

She called later on. And it was stressful locating her. Met her. She wasn't what I expected.

That year! In those days of 2go. I was kinda catfished. Her profile picture was from the chest looking up to the face. Not bad; not stunning either. We got talking. She had quite the attitude and I thought maybe she’s really all that, for her to be this rude and sassy. Then I fixed a date.

First red flag: she came very late. I didn’t recognise her when she walked in cos she looked different. She called me, I answered and someone walked up to me and that was when I really saw her. I wanted to just leave.

Very short and small, and even plain looking. Omo, I lost all the courtesy I had. In my mind I was like “so this is the tiny individual with such a big ego and a bigger mouth?”

I realised then that camera angles and lighting can really alter appearances.

She must have noticed something in my facial expression cos she started giving me attitude. I scolded her for coming late. She retorted rudely and I made up my mind to scatter everything. I asked what she’d like to eat or drink. She started forming something I don’t know. Ah! Forming for who? Me? Okay, I just told her I was leaving. I bought some pastries and a soft drink for her and left the eatery.

I didn’t talk to her after that and she sent me messages and later stopped. I was glad.

Since then I would ask for several pictures.

Mine was in 2009 we scheduled a meet but had to reschedule since she wasn't living close though,on that day I was excited cos we already had more than chemistry online,well after the date I was disappointed not that she was ugly but jeez aunty was always on the phone during the date at a point I wanted to throw away her phone but I decided not to instead me as sharp guy just brought out my own
since I no get anybody to call I just enter Facebook na so we just sit there till I decided we have fooled ourselves enough paid the bills and left reached home deleted her number and blocked her and didn't even call to know if she has reached home and up till now she never call not that I was expecting her to

D funniest part b say i was behind her when she was calling after describing the cloth she wore, i knew it was her. Mehn! I loss interest. Just switched my phone off and took ijoko road home. We no talk since then.

A friend of mine did something even worst with a girl he met on 2go also she traveled all her way from a neighbouring town up to 75 kilometres just for the guy to hibernated somewhere when he saw her he said no no no I can't touch this type that was how he switch off his phone, not even bother to know how the girl found her way back to her home town
