I just made my renewal application online and paid successfully but was given May 2022 for capturing or something. I really need the port in less than 2 week what can I possibly do. My choice of office is Abuja headquarter

I wish you went through this thread earlier, you would have seen people with similar issue and you won't have chosen NIS HQ. You would have gone for gwas. I applied yesterday and was given nxt week appointment.

Yes. Mine was to expire jan next year and that of my son in march lol we watered the ground and did capturing same day. Na 9ja we dey abeg .

Your application for renewal should start, earliest, September. You may not be granted a visa because of the expiry date of your port, which is less than six months to the date of expiration.

Are u suggesting I should wait til September before I start my application? Because if I should start the application in September, the port might not be ready when I need it.

That's not good enough...if booklet is available which I am sure by now it should be available, you should get your port if she is well connected in immigration. I think the women is not serious with it and it's clear she is unable to run it urgently... I think you paid money to the wrong person who can't run it urgently as she had claimed.

go on the port page and fill d form, under change of name due to marriage.. when u get to tht point the amount will come up. The form takes less than 30 mns to fill and u will get the right information in one seating

Please go get your port oh, port just flood everywhere and there's risk that some might get missing because of the handling

Also want to know if someone younger by a year can stand as guarantor.

You cannot process for a new port until September, that is the earliest you can apply for a renewal. The port may take about a month to get.
