When you were filling the form, you would have used port office Gwas. I just applied and I was slated for 17th. I think the best thing is to visit their office ASAP.

It's a must for your guarantor to have Nigerian port, NIN or a valid driver's license

A friend got it in Edo house in Lagos and we were told Edo house is in all states of the federation. Google Edo house in the state you are.

Your application for renewal should start, earliest, September. You may not be granted a visa because of the expiry date of your port, which is less than six months to the date of expiration.

Do it yourself. Make all the necessary payments online. Since it isn't urgent, don't spend that much.
