I am a first time mother and my baby is over 5 weeks.

I am kind of worried my baby doesn't respond to sound. Hubby plays the home theatre very loud sometimes especially when baby is sleeping just to see if he'll be frightened.

Please l want to if it's normal

Observe baby keenly. If response to sound stays poor for long, see a doctor, preferably ENT. If it is a hearing problem, it is better addressed early.

Had to cut off the hair when she was about a year old and since then we had to Plait to see if the hair would grow together... Please what can we do in this case...

Please someone should advise us , my lo just 3 weeks old has very hard/ tight stomach. Surprisingly, she poos very well and eats well too .I think the situation makes her to cry often and uncomfortable .

Does she sleep on her back?

Not all the time.... We ensure she sleeps on her side but when she's deep in sleep you find her sleeping on her back.
What do we do even she turns to sleep on her back?

I went to the hospital for my baby who is 6months today. Her weight has reduced from 10kg about a month ago to 9kg.
Could this weight loss be a result of my mixing her diet from breast milk to pap? Though the nurses say her weight is ok at 9kg but I feel my baby should be adding weight rather than losing.
So today, I decided to try Nutribon rice meal. Is it good for the baby? How many spoons of milk should be added, because from the description, I'm supposed to add 200ml of milk but I don't know how many scoops should make this 200ml. Please help!

This is not even two under two. Its two under 18months. Lol My dear sister, it will end in praise. Just try you r best and dont stress too much. Do the ones you can and leave the rest. Rest well. The Lord is your strength. I made up my mind that if i dont see a helper, i will stop here biko. I have a 4 year old and a 7 months old. You shall deliver like the Hebrew women. Amen

Hello mothers, I discovered a swollen soft spot on my 3weeks old baby's head..doctor said it would go by itself, I shouldn't touch or massage.

Soft spot in babies head is normal on babies and it will close gradually,bt the swollen part is what I don't get but since your doctor says it's fine then no problem

Mamas is it only my baby that is on this table and is it normal,my baby will be three months soon but since we got back to our base then he is like a month,he loves watching TV,he smiles as if he understands,if he is crying and sees TV he will stop,am thinking hope this won't affect his sight in future or we should not on the TV when he is awake

The weight is really okay,at one yr she has to triple her birthweight. She is almost achieving that at months. Pls dont overfeed your baby oo

Good evening mama’s.My 3 weeks baby has white coating on his tongue and lips.He is always fussy especially at night and sometimes cries even when sucking.
I notice that my nipple alway hurt and pains anytime he puts his mouth on it and this is different from the initial pain.This is more of a stabbing pain.I read online that it might be oral and nipple trush.Please anyone who has experienced this should give me any tips.it is making me fear breastfeeding and I wonder the kind of pain he is going through.Thanks

It's oral thrush. Do not try to scrape it off cos it will make your baby to bleed. Go to a hospital so they could prescribe antifungal medication for baby

Please mamas my babys thigh has lump and a bit swollen from his vaccination site,i applied ice to it but the lump has refused to go.Please what do I do am worried o.Ur inputs will be highly appreciated
