Should I Buy The MTN Lumos Solar Energy? (1938 Views)

Hi Nairalanders. I don't know the appropriate place to post this so permit me to ask this question here. @Lalasticlala help me move to front page if you deem worthy. I want to invest in solar power to compensate for elliptical electricity supply. I heard about the MTN Lumos solar power where they sell the one with one to you for less than 30k after which you pay 6k each month for 48 months. At least that's what it says on their flyer but their sales person told me I will pay small small and stop paying at 200k. I think it's a good deal. But I want to know if there are better options before investing in this product. This one with one can power laptop (my primary need), bulbs, small tv, table fan, and phone chargers. Please tell me what you think.

ibinaboonline: Don't go for mtn Lumos. It's not advisable at all. There are cheaper alternatives that will deliver more backup than the mtn lumos at less than 90k. |

Have you heard about Mobile Power Solution (MPS)? It is the right power solution that matches your need, built with the industry leading liFePo4 Lithium battery technology with long lifespan and ability to deeply discharge without any damage as against lead acid battery of mtn lumos . Portable powerbank for laptop, over ten or over eighteen hours guaranteed. Increase your productivity and allow you to work when you like, small enough to be carried around. Don't get mistaken for a Yahoo boy because of your generator noise 50k for 100,000mah guaranteed to power you pc for more than 10 hours. 75k for 180,000mah guaranteed to power pc for more than 18hours. All are built with brand new liFePo4 battery. This is guarantee to impress you! Check our thread here on Nairaland or website wwwdotcooldipodotcom 0806.531.6307 1 Like 1 Share |

I'm not looking for a power bank. I'm looking for a proper solar energy that can power the tv, table fan, and of course, my laptop.

You don't need an inverter really, what you need is an MPS. You can copy that link and check it out on YouTube

ibinaboonline: Every battery is a powerbank Sir because they save or store charge. The MPS can do better than MTN Lumos for sure. This can power your TV or laptop without stress. It can be easily recharged by a single unit of 150watt , and you don't even need a charge controller because it already has an inbuilt one. What you decide on, make sure you buy one with a lithium battery. Regards! |
