You miss something, in Christianity, ee never say that good deeds means nothing, as a fact it's one of the prerequisites to making heaven, what we say is that it's not enough, you must do good deeds to be a believer of JESUS CHRIST, you cannot be his follower without good deeds, then being born of water and SPIRIT which HE says is a must, and because no one can save themselves, JESUS fulfilled the law on our behalf by dieing the death meant for us, so all we have to do is believe and prove it bu our good deeds.
