This current team is good, no doubt. But the only way it can win the league or at least mount a good challenge is if there isn’t a competitor with a much better, improved squad.

This team actually was at the top of the league and seem to be on the path to winning it or mounting a challenge but the lack of quality replacements in key areas of the pitch when important players got injured played a significant role in its drop of form.
