There should have been an ejection mechanism (if it was working) and if there is any fault the pilots would have known and quickly initiate ejection but if the aircraft was hit by a missile then the pilots may not have that time to initiate any ejection!

Hmmmm........ the jet crashed 5 minutes after take off at an altitude of 15000 feet. Really?... and took this long to locate?.... crashed into what at 1500 feet?.... rain clouds? Yes indeed. Low-flying jets on strafing runs can be hit at any moment by small arms fire. This is a known risk for which combat aviators willingly sign up.

No insult intended... Okay Jet engine get. fault, the same time mechanical system also get hooked.... Both are not in anyway linked in the Jet.... The ejection is pure mechanical and not electrical.... The two faults at the same time is quite impossible bro.... The ejection is a safety caution with parachute. It's almost impossible for the two to happen at the same time. It's either the pilot was dead before the jet crashed.

1. Either the jet is faulty judging from the time it took off and crashed ( five minutes ) that's according to the report they gave us oh
2. Either the jet is working but the ejection seat is faulty for them to have found a body at the crash site.
3. Either the Boko boys used javelin which is difficult for pilots to escape from cos it's locked on and will follow the jet how everyand where every the jet goes.
But the thing is they ever said or mentioned if the ejection seats are intact or not.

Fighter jet supposed to have ejection button which is separated from the plane engine.

I have seen a lot of ejection from fighter jet in destroyed in seconds... This is not about movie

Why will everything not be faulty, when the Nigerian military budget for brand new equipments and spare parts but the procurement officers end up buying tokumbo hardware and spare parts. Most probably the ejection system was not even installed.
