Please i just realised my problems in math and that why i always find math hard but i have already changed my mindset and i need a very self explanatory math textbook that start from the basic to the big guns



I need a textbook with clear out and easy to understand examples,great number of exercise as am going to do self study without any tutor.



NOTE: I know of the fact that math require consistency and practice but i also know that there would be textbooks that woud be frendly (especially for someone that dont know any thing in math) and because of studying the textbook diligently one can make ¡A1 in waec and neco.

I would recommend K.A Stroud Engineering mathematics. It covers major topics in O'Level mathematics and it is very easy to understand. With K.A Stroud, you wouldn't need a tutor to guide you. Good luck.

PS: Secondary school students can use K.A Stroud Engineering mathematics also. The book is so easy to understand that anyone can understand it.

It's one of those textbooks i used for waec preparation and scholarships. I can't but I think it has enough exercises. From easy to hard ones.

1) Basic Mathematics For College Students by Alan S. Tussy, David Gustafson, and Diane Koenig. (This book will teach you basic arithmetic from the scratch).
2) Algebra and Trigonometry by Michael Sullivan.
3) Geometry by Ron larson, Laurie Boswells and Co.
4) Calculus by Ron larson, Edwards and Hostetler.

If you don't become too good for O- and A-level after studying these properly, then something is wrong with you. After studying these, chat me if you need more books.

Am a teacher in mathematics and this book hidden facts in Jsce Mathematics by Otumudia has so much helped me. Am still searching for the Ssce version or jamb version without success.
