I was going to suggest getting an affidavit for correction/confirmation of date of birth and then go back to your school to rectify it. It's better you do these things yourself, instead of relying on hearsay.

You could also email PEBC ask them whether they will accept an affidavit for correction/confirmation of date of birth.

CRS score= 523 (bilingual)
ITA: November 14th 2019
AOR: November 23rd
BIO: 5th December 2019
All stages were ed on March 2020.
Since then, no more news from IRCC due to covid.
I think this situation is becoming unbearable will have to turn the page and forget about this immigration issue. Damn.

IRCC's mode of operation makes little consideration for visa applicants (both immigrant and non-immigrant category) and I'll advice that people do what they can to avoid having an expired visa/COPR. Many may mock me for this but the Nigerian Immigration E-visa(tourist, business, spousal) regime is a lot more friendly. This is march 2021 not march 2020 when covid19 shut down the world. I feel for potential immigrants who believed so much in the system, sold their belongings, quit their jobs/shut down their businesses and got stuck in the "unable to travel state". Some were even accompanied to the airport by family/friends only to be denied boarding and have since been stuck spending out of their settlement funds.

In the pool many have gone the extra mile working to earn points but have been excluded from draws with some losing 5 points on their birthdays. Many have also had their applications taking more than a year. Everything blamed on Coivd. Covid only exposed the weaknesses of the system

If your IT was remunerated and you can find an appropriate NOC, it would count.

The person has only NYSC work experience as a recent graduate, is in his 20s, and do not want to go for masters program in Nigeria.

According to IRCC, it is not compulsory to do Upfront medicals, applicants do Upfront so as to hasten application time. You can submit your application with a proof of no slot available before your application deadline, i believe a mail from IOM will suffice, you can also include a letter of explanation. I suggest you book the nearest date you can get and even pay. Attach the transaction details too under your medical folder and submit your application. You have seen the trend of draw, it will be sad to waste this opportunity.

I dint respond earlier cause I had not gotten a confirmation that this process will Work, but it has worked for me. Got ITA on 25th of November just like you did, got a date with IOM for Dec 17 but my appointment was Canceled. I submitted my application December 11 regardless with a message from IOM canceling my appointment, proof of payment and letter of explanation. I eventually Did my Upfront medicals on Jan 19 and my profile has been updated to medical ed less than 3 weeks after I got s mail from IOM saying my result had been ed. [/quote]

I am not talking about the one year IT that polytechnic students do, this I know is acceptable. However, If you studied in a university and you include your 6 months IT as a student, it will not be accepted. Not seen anyone successfully use their SIWES experience. If you know any, please share.

My VO is OTTAWA. They have been answering to emails with generic response. Ottawa has been silent since more than 6 months now.

When you get your report it would be soft copy. That is all you need as your application is done online.

You may never see the hard copy.
