Please I need a clarification on I-20. I notice that what the institution inputed on my I-20 is confusing. Mpower loan and personal funds were put together under FAMILY FUNDS while person funds column is zero and is even less than what I sent to them via my personal statement of and cover letter from MPOWER FINANCING. Is it always like that when it involves loan from MPOWER and person savings? Please assist

Please can someone help me with this I-20 question. Can I still change the balance used when filling I-20 form from the statement of that I sent to school to issue I-20? For instance let's assume that statement of I sent to school for I-20 request was 5K and after the school has sent the I-20 form to me to fill, knowing fully well that this is going to be sent to embassy, now can I still increase the money to 20k?

Thank you very much for your response but I want to ask this does that mean that mpower financing company will base the loan amount with what is in funding gap figure on loan application portal? Or they will still ask me to specify loan amount?

Request for more than 50k then deduct your personal savings and make sure it gets back to 50k
For instance, if you need 50k and your personal savings is 5k
Request for 55k and then deduct the 5k personal savings.

In your case, request for 78,800 and deduct your 28,800 to get the 50k request

Total figure of my financial plan in application portal is very small to what I need from them. For example I need $50,000 loan from MPOWER but in the portal there is a potion to put scholarship from school and personal savings (7,800+ 21,000= 28,800) this figure was removed from tuition fee and other expenses I. e 59,000-28,800=30,200. And I was asked to confirm that 30,200 as my financial plan but unable to continue because I want 50,000 from them. Please can someone help me out to resolve to my 50,000 loan request. Or I should not include my personal savings?

You cannot apply for more than $50,000 at time, though your lifetime limit is $100,000. You are expected to have funds that will at least cover one month living expenses.
