I got into the U.S with my kids 3 days ago. Los Angeles international airport. CBP Officer : Are you here for business or pleasure? ME : Pleasure/ vacation. CBP Officer : How long are you staying? ME : We leave on the 17th of Sept, so approx. 19 days. He starts stamping our ports. CBP Officer : How much do you have with you? ME : $2,000. My sister has my $1,000. CBP Officer : In your form you declared something..... ME : Yes. I'm carrying foodstuff for my sister....we would be staying with her. CBP Officer : Ok. (Hands me our ports). We got our luggage and the officer sent us to Agricultural processing for our foodstuff. We ed our bags through the scanner but they were not opened or checked. We were stamped in for 6 months. 10 Likes |

Hello everyone...I'll be travelling to the U.S next week with my 4 kids, and we intend staying for 2 weeks. I agreed to carry some things to my sister who lives in the states, so i might end up carrying up to 5 suitcases. Would that be a problem at the POE since we would be there for just 2 weeks? Would they ask why we are carrying up to 5 bags?

In your mind now, you made a sensible comment. How insensitive can you be? You mustn't comment on every post. Someone is concerned about her matter and asking a valid question, and you say she's annoying you...because you are what sef? The same way i asked a question sometime ago and you came and said my question was annoying. Why not read and and wait for questions that don't annoy you? Most of your comments here are quite annoying and not really sensible, but is anyone making degrading comments to you about them? Calm yourself down abeg. Spanishmilf: 8 Likes |

Ok.... i asked because i saw a post on the thread about giving birth in the U.S. I attached the image to this comment, i hope it shows because i don't really know how to do that. Does the underlined in the image not apply anymore? I assume that those who are not allowed into the country are those who lied about being pregnant at the embassy not those who got preggers months after getting the visa. I might be wrong though...that's why I'm asking. TWoods:

We were issued for the first time in 2016 and we used it in 2017 for a 4 weeks visit. I got it renewed early last year with the intent of visiting again, but that hasn't happened yet. We were considering using it this year before it expires, but then i just found out about my condition. OmoBendel24: |

I have a valid B1/B2 visa and i very very recently found out that I'm pregnant again ![]() ![]() Can i attempt to use the visa for birth tourism or should i just stay here and give birth jeje? And i didn't plan to travel at all this year oh! However, If i travel with the visa and declare at the POE that I'm there to have my baby and ready to pay all my bills and everything, will they cancel my visa and chase me back home? What do you guys advice? |

I'm female ![]() Yes, the next long vac is around August, that's why she should start her application process as soon as possible. Yes, the dates would pop up when applying but the earliest appointment date might even be as far as July sef. Or there might not be dates available (I've heard of cases like that)...that's why she should start now. Like i said, travel history might not be the main determining factor. Let her work on her ties to Nigeria and her confidence when answering questions as well. id911: |

If she intends to travel during the next long vac, then she should apply as soon as possible. When are the next available appointment dates sef? Secondly, invitation letters are not as important as travel history and ties to Nigeria. What's her travel history like? (even though that is not the major determining factor....i got my first U.S visa on a virgin port ). Are her ties to Nigeria strong enough to show the V.O that she will come back to Nigeria? id911: |

Bikonu, i have question. The last visas we were given, we haven't used it and I'm not sure we will use it this year sef. It expires March next year (i think). If we don't use it at all, do you think it will affect our chances of renewal when we need to get them renewed? |
