VFS abuja received port 2nd Nov,i did not get any email or update.or tracking ID.....called severally and was given the tracking ID via phone.I submitted with Prepaid 2 way courier from UPS.... as at wednesday 11th, Counterfoil was updated on GC ,Letter of Introduction was updated next day Thursday. By thursday..VFS sent the port back via UPS using my prepaid envelope....no communication.... VFS Abuja seems to be working quietly and efficiently.

But the requirement for submission as stated by vfs is below: You can just get them ready incase you are ed, you’ll just go ahead and submit.

VFS requirement for port submission after PPR
International port,
Vfs consent form (2 copies),
port request letter including all the requirements stated in the letter
2 copies of port data page,
Slip that was issued after biometric enrollment (no port transmission fee required)
Your information, including your email address and phone number.


You are to make payment of N7,430 for port transmission if you did not do your biometric at the same application centre where you want to send in your port (including applicants below 14 and above 80 years of age) and an optional sms fee of N760.
The name and number : CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION (a/c no 0065165839 ) Sterling Bank.
After the process is completed from the Embassy, you will be ed on how to make payment for the VFS in-house courier delivery process for port return.

I applied on May 17th. Last week, I sent three webforms to Beijing. Someone suggested that I should write a letter, sign it and then attach as a PDF in the webform. You could try that too. I learnt it makes them treat your webform request faster. The person could be wrong but the last webform I sent was on Friday and I got BVL this morning.

Yours is May, I applied since March 8. I received my BVL in July and since then nothing. I agree with you that the wait is killing. But we just have to keep waiting, not like we have a choice at this point. Don’t worry it will come.

1. Your visa will be in a deactivated state if your college is not on the covid ready list (those who have visas)
2. If you have an AIP for 2021 then you must have deffered and if you did then you have to notify the ircc about the defferal with a new loa via the webform
3. for the classes starting in 2021 you will get a normal visa (NO AIP if you have an aip send them the new LOA via webform)
4. All the applications will be on hold if the said DLI is not yet on the list. only those application who's DLI's are on the list will be prioritised and also advances to 2nd stage.
5. If you have completed 1 full year online you are still eligible for PGWP (for 1 year programs)
6. If your college is on the list you can travel anytime for sept students irrespective of the mode of delivery (3 weeks prior before the class start date for jan students)
7. VFS will open stage wise (Delhi vfs is open for accepting ports)
8. There is no date on vfs yet discussions are going for November opening.
9. No POE is needed if your DLI is on the list. carry your loa, quarantine package list (or ur quarantine plans), port and visa.
10. when they know when vacs will open then they will prioritise who has to give biometrics first.
11. No ppr's will be issued without biometrics (my ppr is on hold due to no bio)
12. port requests will be sent to students who's DLI is on the list.
13. Quarantine plan is at the college discretion.
14. you can give biometrics in another country but you cant give biometrics at the port of entry (no bio no visa)
15. DLI list will be updated every 2 weeks (dli can update you before the 2 week time).

So from my observation, the few that have gotten BVL are the ones IRCC sent their application to China for processing and they're mostly applicants from June and below.
By the grace of God, earlier applicants( Jan,Feb,March) like myself will also receive a BVL soon and consequently a PPR in Jesus name. ☺️

To be honest, I feel like you guys are doing way too much for free and perhaps it's creating room for nonsensical stuffs on here. I including a truck load of other monikers on this thread have learned tremendously about the entire Canada study permit process to the extent of even coaching newbies just by virtue of reading Frank's well articulated responses and issued advice towards applicants. It's scary reading line by line the drama that went down and even after virtually everyone told the moniker to apologize to Frank, retard kept on saying shit in defense.

Please be straight with your story I beg of you, I read somewhere you got AIP then also requested for GCMS notes and apparently the notes denote your approval has been since April. Also, I read somewhere you telling someone you never got AIP which is which please?
