Im thinking of the cotonou opinion as well

My Route is from UK to Nigeria not the other way.
I have just paid for a ticket for:

Heathrow => Adids Abab
Addis Ababa => Cotonou

Then road transport from Cotonou to Lagos

I also done a Covid Test in UK here just in case any one sees ho ha

Flight leaves next tuesday, so i would rather the person gets there safely and what lessons learnt, before i can share any details.

I am using this for the first time and cannot be responsible for anyone.

Even though i have paid the amount today, if i hear there is a direct flight from london to lagos today via the. evacuation route, i will pay again because i hate this cotonou route

I am seriously following
My MIL has been in the Uk for 7 months and tired of it, we never considered the flight to Cotonou but now it’s a real possibility
We heard of a flight leaving UK on the 28th to Cotonou and then she will take toad transport to Lagos.
I hate the whole thing, there is no direct information and looks like it’s all hush hush.
Anyone with better information please post. I really hope there is evacuation flight to Nigeria from UK because I don’t trust this Cotonou business

Not a well written article
To many information on the amount of cancelled flight, but at the end there is no conclusion of the reason why. Just another statistics thrown without a reason behind the article.

Hello everyone.
First this is not a job, sorry.. I have a friend who just moved back to Nigeria and has a lot of salesforce CRM knowledge and many certifications, but he is struggling to find companies that use salesforce, looks like its mostly Microsoft Dynamics.
Is there anyone here that knows salesforce or companies that use/might be interested in salesforce
Thanks

Hello house

I over stayed my 6 months UK business Visa which was issued in 2010 and I came back to naija in 2013 voluntarily with my port. At the departure the UK immigration wrote a number inside my port, the said port has expired and I have collected another one which I have used to travel to Dubai. I want to apply to the UK embassy for visa, what is my chance of getting the visa?

To be honest, very very slim

Hello all,
Really need help here.
I work for the ministry so not a great amount of pay, my brother and sister is in the UK and i was hoping to spend some weeks there with my hubby.
I have been to the UK before.

My brother is sponsoring the flight, accommodation etc

He provided all ing statement, bank details, pay slip, mortgage etc.

i added my savings and current statement, issue is that i receive my salary in one and move everything to a different , one of my statement showed balance of N500 because the money was moved to the other .

I got refused because it shows the was low.

can i do the following?
1. reapply saying he is sponsoring everything so no need to submit my statement?
2. reapply without showing the that the showed the low balance?

has anyone been successful for applying for visit visa stating full sponsorship by relative abroad without adding any person bank details?

Thanks

Guessing it worked for you?
We are in need of a nanny and we are somewhere in Essex.
Issue is that this visa is just for 6 months, we need someone for a minimum of 1 year.

doing this every 6 months is really putting me off

Tutu82:

I didn’t get any assistance in my quest off here so helped myself.
There is a category called a domestic visa that lets you bring helps such as nannies, cooks and cleaners. It is straight forward but costs £496.
The entry officer requires;
Proof she/he will live with you and have their own room.
Copy of Nigerian contract.
Copy of uk contract.
Data page of all parties including children to be cared for and that’s all.
Resident permit of child’s parents
Tuberculosis test certificate which has to be done at IOM Buchanan street Wuse two and costs 48,900.
Six months bank statement of child parent not nanny and a letter of iv to the nanny stating his/her full name/ number/dob/and what you are bringing them to do.
Believe it or not that’s it...They most have previously worked with you or your immediate family in Nigeria for a year.

So i did give a flying review for Medview early last year and said I will use them again in December >>Worst Decision Ever<<

Most of the issues have been highlighted already so no need to go into details.

But i know that i will never fly medview/Arik again.

If i am not willing to pay for BA or Virgin to Nigeria, then i am not ready to visit.

Hi,
This might be an old post but it is still relevant for me.

I am looking at bringing my family friend to the UK to help my little one.
UKBA is not straight forward on the required steps, has anyone brought someone to UK before (recently)

Thanks

Might be an old thread but worth commenting..

I did my research before flying Medview from LON - LAG, so far everyone said its a cheaper version of ARIK.

So i didn't just book one flight but 2 flights. One in June travelling solo and another in December with one adult and a baby.
Here is my review (based on flying once with them from LON - LAG)

Pros
1. On time (strangely)
2. Staff at checking point (in LON) were friendly and related with you in naija none of those fake accent from arik ladies
3. Really cheap (cant bit that)
4. This will be good and bad - They served Amala and Ewedu, older generations loved that

Cons
1. Its one plane. Same plane goes in and out of London (which is not to bad because planes are designed to go far anyway, but having one plane means if there is something wrong with it...e don B for u
2. The plane is old, like really old. the clothes on the seat are faded, torn materials and strangely the plane doesnt even have Medview written on it
3. The air condition comes from somewhere, definitely not from the top and cant be controlled
4. The staff try to be professional (bless them) but its just glaring the level of i dont care about this and that
5. For the food, even though they want to appeal to our Nigerian-ess, the smell of the soup was everywhere in the plane, and it was just recycled into our clothes, so when we landed i smelt like a guy who just came from a buka
6. The entertainment system is nothing to talk about. Get ready to watch X-MEN (old one) on replay and to top it up, its not in english

In Summary
despite more negatives, i will recommend it to any person flying solo and want to cut down on cost.
If you like you entertainment, just get your movies in your portable device.

+++A big plus is that i was flying to abuja and they gave me a free flight LAG to ABJ so big up to them+++

I channel 4 "undiscovered report" doing the same coverage 5 years ago in the UK. That brought a lot of attention and then died off.

Problem is that, there will also be women who will want to risk their lives for the uncertainties abroad. Been naive should not be an excuse. Meanwhile some European men have fantasies of black women having some Satanic 50 shades of grey fantasies.

So there is always demand and supply.
How can you convice a teenager who has no job and seats at home everyday not to take the risk and go to Europe, in her eyes she has nothing to loose and the grass is always greener on the other side.

One of the ways to stop this I.m.o is to get them involved in the community. How to do that is the open question

That's the surname of all my Urhobo Uncles.

Too bad my half-Urhobo and half-Benin friend has no Urhobo name.

Umukoro is an old fashioned surname mostly used by men, won't be surprised if it comes back in season - however its def not a girls name

I will first ask: wat part of urhobo?

Takin 4 instance d followin names means same tin in dia category but slightly diff spellins n pronounciation:

Rumene--okpe
Rukeme--Uvwie/ agbon
Rukevwe--agbaro/ orogun
Rukoma--isoko

Mamekpe--uvwie
Mamuyovwi--agbaro/ orogun
Mamuromu--okpe
Mamuzo--isoko

Onome--agbaro n d rest of urhobo
Oneme--Okpe n uvwie

Akpevwe--d rest of urhobo
Akpemie--okpe/ uvwie

Ochuko--d rest of urhobo
Othuke--isoko

So wat part of urhobo does ur person cum from?

I wud chose d popular Akpos 4 dem, its a unisex name, its popular n its easy to pronouce.

Howeva, if u lookin 4 sumtin difficult, go 4 "Orhienosonobrugwebruru" or "ekpakpasimaga"

Akpos is a def No, she would be laughed out and never taken serious (depending if akpos is still in fashion when she grows up)

But valid points to the area - He is from Eku, not sure how u map that out.

Someone also not why they this couple doesn't want oghene. The whole family on his part has an Oghene to everything, they believe in God strongly but can do without another oghene.

But please keep the suggestions coming, i have some great names already here and very pleased with the response i have been getting so far

Hi Folks,

So he is an Urhobo man, married to a Caribbean lady and resides in Europe (emphasis in Europe because not everyone can even pronounce his name, the idea would be to get a short easy name)

They are expecting a baby girl soon and both running out of ideas for an urhobo name

They already have a first name and his wife insists on having an Urhobo second name.

I have checked the popular sites (Wadoo, cutebabynamez.com) and nothing really sticks.

Will appreciate suggestions of names and the meaning

Many thanks

So i just got FIFA 15 over the weekend on PS4

Few things i noticed:
1. one player can dribble everyone and score, defending is the hardest thing ever
2. no need to hold the run button, they are fast enough (imagine what happens if you speed this up in the setting)
3. over head through ball can be stopped (good for me)
4. They have tried to make it real with so many things moving at the same time (More 3D like) make me dizzy after a few game

Will advise guys to still buy, but the demo and get use to it before going online. I was humbled with 5-0 in just 34mins

For guys who play online, have you noticed you cant win tournaments?

There was an update few weeks back that i thought resolved this issue.

Can anyone capture the error code when you get it, perhaps we can Google it and find a solution

2 ways to add people

1- PS app, simplest way
2- from your ps4, got to friends, invite

Lastly, to play PS4 online, u need to pay for online hip.

If you have met all this requirement.
Please add me
