Big buyers are busy accumulating MTN. It has been trading at a certain range daily. The moment they are done, you will have to buy MTN at N300+ . Keep an eye on it.

By some people's logic, banks can only pay good dividend every year and not see significant price improvements. Where did this idea come from? Nigerians banks are the cheapest on the NSE with a track record of attractive dividends. Don't sleep on them. 2 Likes |

Streetinvestor2: We elect leaders to shape our society for good. Agreed we all have a role to play but leadership from the top must consistently show example and provide a road map. Why do we spend billions on elections to end up having charlatans as leaders. Do you know how many Nigerians that are able bodied and willing to work but can't find jobs? The companies that left Nigeria, what forced them to leave? We mustn't all do the the same thing. Using your pepper farming example which is good, I hope you farm your own petrol, raise your own security company to protect while travelling. Pay police xxxxx amount to investigate a case or effect an arrest. Build on your custom so they don't charge you arbitrary duties when you import goods. I can go on and on. Have a blessed day! 2 Likes |

pluto09: Mention one sector that is doing well currently in Nigeria? Education? Healthcare? Agriculture? Transportation? Infrastructure? Power? Security? What policies are you talking about? Almost 2yrs into this istration and even the low hanging fruits can not be plucked. Kidnapping has blossomed. BokoHaram now uses drown to attack military formations. Drop out rate from schools has gone up. Oil theft on a large scale is still a thing. When last did you travel by road? Cost of governance is still very high. Budget padding and duplication still on going. Ministry of agriculture can construct road in ogun state. We don't need haphazard policies. Fix the basic things first. Clean up the budget mess. Cut cost. fight insecurity. Stop oil theft on a large scale. Stop smuggling. These are basic things any serious government can achieve in one year. Keep liking his policies that deliver nothing. 3 Likes |

Bizibi: Exactly! Quick question for ers of Mr president, can he ever stop oil theft? How come we can't even meet our OPEC quarter? Why are we producing less oil daily? Who are those stealing our oil? Why are farmers unable to go to farm? Why is food more expensive in Nigeria than the developed societies? Why is smuggling still going on? How many companies bidded for the much talked about coastal road? Is rule of law functional in Nigeria? 1 Like |

MaxX489: You are one of the few people that have sense. I better my neighbour mentality be killing some people here. Because you trade stocks and have a few things going for you, you suddenly can't see the absurd poverty in the country. BAT unfortunately can't lift people out of poverty. He has no known history of being productive in anyway outside politics. His ers know this. 4 Likes |

Agbalowomeri: This is not a sensible take. Where is the place of political will in governance? So some group people can scuttle the president's plan and nothing will happen? No wonder we are not developing. You people just sit down and rubbish. How do you push more people into poverty, mint more poor people faster than bacteria can replicate and call it reform? What is "scatter everywhere first and we will arrange it back"? How is the arrangement going so far? The president has full capacity to go after those pocketing subsidies and not delivering products. He is in charge of our borders, so don't come with the excuse that people steal and sell petrol products in neighbouring african countries. If they can close borders against import from neighbouring african countries, I see no reason they can't close same borders again people shipping petrol out of the country. What about even making some refineries functional? This is 2024 for God's sake. The rest of the world have moved past this. You and your president are looking for an easy escape that is why you took the route of abrupt removal of petrol subsidy and devaluation. You go after the masses with ease but can't go against the supposed "cabal" that is fewer. See all people that died because they are looking for free food and palliatives. Something they could ordinarily afford before now. Show me one country that doesn't operate one form of subsidy or the other? Now, you have driven energy cost to the high heavens. How does this production? How does this reduce production cost and by extension cost of finished goods and services that can compete or beat imports? Now rice, chicken, and arms smugglers are having a field day and no one is checking them even after plenty whistleblowing. Make we dey try use our brains. 13 Likes |

No market is normal but NSE is the height of anomaly. Banger stocks don't bang. Look at all the amazing results we have seen so far. See how flat the market is. See the response to some of the best results we have seen in a long time. They should close this shit up!

[quote author=designking post=132464725] These great stocks are grossly undervalued: 1.Access Bank 2. Dangote Sugar 3. Nascon They have a very tight oscillating band and a strong potential for an upward movement in the near future. The singular reason Dangote Sugar and NASCON have been down in price is primarily caused by the Naira-dollar instability. Surprised no one is talking about Fidelity bank. Those guys did magic in their half year result. 1 Like |

Nothing s the bear we are experiencing in the market. I know the market can be irrational. 1.On paper, we just got out of recession 2.Covid is coming under more control 3.Oil price is up 4.Companies are churning out decent profit and declaring reasonable dividend despite the challenges of 2020. One would think a bullish run should reward our companies for being resilient despite very obvious challenges of the past year. 5. The economic outlook for 2021 is even better. What else am I missing? You can add your point. 7 Likes |
