Big buyers are busy accumulating MTN. It has been trading at a certain range daily. The moment they are done, you will have to buy MTN at N300+ . Keep an eye on it.

It's probably a one off .. loot from aradel investment.. hoping they'll give a bountiful payout as dividend which will drive price up steeply.. maybe scrip issue fit too. That profit for 2024 is too juicy for them not to give we shareholders something gbemulicious

They may find another investment or already on something similar.

Consolidated Hallmark will bang this year. The numbers they churned out so far if replicated will take them to double digit.

By some people's logic, banks can only pay good dividend every year and not see significant price improvements. Where did this idea come from?

Nigerians banks are the cheapest on the NSE with a track record of attractive dividends. Don't sleep on them.

Cabal is an inherent feature of any sector in Naija....
They will evolve once subsidy is in place in education health or agriculture...
PBAT need to confront this cabal system...
Or his so called reforms means hunger and starvation for the masses...
No sane country allows economic saboteurs to prosper...

God bless you!

If Nigerians want to eliminate hunger going forward. When the next farming season arrives. They should hit the farms.God has given us the land. And stop all this noise on removing subsidy on dollars and fuel. Nigerians want cheap comfort and many don't want to work.i leave on the street and see it.They just all want white collar job and cheap cash. The security issues has improved that I can tell you. Let everyone farm in his little way.I have stopped buying pepper for 2 yrs now from the market. Corruption can only be reduced and can not be eradicated anywhere even in developed countries.
Nigerians should go to farm to feed herself. Let have surplus in food crops and see if inflation won't drop.
Then on this cabal we keep shouting. The are not from another planet. They are you and me in the society. We need to give ourselves new orientation for our love for money. The cabal exist even on this thread in thr little way.if they see bigger avenue they will act bigger..It is not that easy as some make it look here.Larger number of Nigerians are corrupt. Many lack integrity in this country..I saw how a pastor in my formal church keyed in to rubbish the last election. All because he was aiming to build a house and buy a new car which he did achieve. He is an inec staff. He was instrumental to making me and my wife vote.He personal brought our voters card to the house when it was ready. He now irritates me each time I see him. Everyone has a role to play

We elect leaders to shape our society for good. Agreed we all have a role to play but leadership from the top must consistently show example and provide a road map. Why do we spend billions on elections to end up having charlatans as leaders. Do you know how many Nigerians that are able bodied and willing to work but can't find jobs? The companies that left Nigeria, what forced them to leave? We mustn't all do the the same thing. Using your pepper farming example which is good, I hope you farm your own petrol, raise your own security company to protect while travelling. Pay police xxxxx amount to investigate a case or effect an arrest. Build on your custom so they don't charge you arbitrary duties when you import goods. I can go on and on. Have a blessed day!

How much barrel of oil are we producing now?
How much were we producing when PBAT came in? Are we making any progress?
Has anyone ever said Tinubu is doing well in every area of governance?
We were actually talking about some of his policies that some of us think he did the right thing. Of course there are many areas that he needs to work on and I want to believe one of such is security.

Mention one sector that is doing well currently in Nigeria? Education? Healthcare? Agriculture? Transportation? Infrastructure? Power? Security? What policies are you talking about? Almost 2yrs into this istration and even the low hanging fruits can not be plucked. Kidnapping has blossomed. BokoHaram now uses drown to attack military formations. Drop out rate from schools has gone up. Oil theft on a large scale is still a thing. When last did you travel by road? Cost of governance is still very high. Budget padding and duplication still on going. Ministry of agriculture can construct road in ogun state.

We don't need haphazard policies. Fix the basic things first. Clean up the budget mess. Cut cost. fight insecurity. Stop oil theft on a large scale. Stop smuggling. These are basic things any serious government can achieve in one year. Keep liking his policies that deliver nothing.

the situation in some sectors especially the oil sector has gone beyond redemption. Officially we can produce below 2mbbls but it is different unofficially..... honestly I don't even know when those in government will get it right. Like what a top government official told me he said "corruption is now a culture in the corridors of power in Nigeria" what seems to be a taboo is being done without ability.

Exactly! Quick question for ers of Mr president, can he ever stop oil theft? How come we can't even meet our OPEC quarter? Why are we producing less oil daily? Who are those stealing our oil? Why are farmers unable to go to farm? Why is food more expensive in Nigeria than the developed societies? Why is smuggling still going on? How many companies bidded for the much talked about coastal road? Is rule of law functional in Nigeria?

This is a flawed argument and reasoning. It’s a known fact Nigeria doesn’t consume 60/70 million barrels of oil daily.
How about cleaning up the system, taking on the cabal and overhaul of Nigerian governance system. BAT is a crook and lacks the political will to take on the rent seekers because BAT is a product of a flawed Nigerian system.
If Nigeria electoral system reflected the will of the people, BAT won’t have acted with impunity.
A man whom goves the National Assembly almost NGN500 billion in his first year in office but telling citizens to endure while the political class fed fat and getter fatter.
Do you know what it means to drag 123million citizens into multidimensional poverty, I guess you don’t!

You are one of the few people that have sense. I better my neighbour mentality be killing some people here. Because you trade stocks and have a few things going for you, you suddenly can't see the absurd poverty in the country. BAT unfortunately can't lift people out of poverty. He has no known history of being productive in anyway outside politics. His ers know this.

If BAT wait for conditions to be right, no reforms will be implemented. In Buhari's 8 years how many times did Dangote postpone launching of his refinery? A refinery that was supposed to start operating by the end of Buhari's first tenure?

BAT understands this terrain very well. Scatter everywhere first then we will arrange it back. People fail to realize that some cabals were benefiting from the status quo and will do everything for those conditions not to be met

This is not a sensible take. Where is the place of political will in governance? So some group people can scuttle the president's plan and nothing will happen? No wonder we are not developing. You people just sit down and rubbish. How do you push more people into poverty, mint more poor people faster than bacteria can replicate and call it reform? What is "scatter everywhere first and we will arrange it back"? How is the arrangement going so far? The president has full capacity to go after those pocketing subsidies and not delivering products. He is in charge of our borders, so don't come with the excuse that people steal and sell petrol products in neighbouring african countries. If they can close borders against import from neighbouring african countries, I see no reason they can't close same borders again people shipping petrol out of the country. What about even making some refineries functional? This is 2024 for God's sake. The rest of the world have moved past this. You and your president are looking for an easy escape that is why you took the route of abrupt removal of petrol subsidy and devaluation. You go after the masses with ease but can't go against the supposed "cabal" that is fewer. See all people that died because they are looking for free food and palliatives. Something they could ordinarily afford before now. Show me one country that doesn't operate one form of subsidy or the other? Now, you have driven energy cost to the high heavens. How does this production? How does this reduce production cost and by extension cost of finished goods and services that can compete or beat imports? Now rice, chicken, and arms smugglers are having a field day and no one is checking them even after plenty whistleblowing. Make we dey try use our brains.

No market is normal but NSE is the height of anomaly. Banger stocks don't bang. Look at all the amazing results we have seen so far. See how flat the market is. See the response to some of the best results we have seen in a long time. They should close this shit up!

One can only stay positive. Banks are some of the best performers every year. Unfortunately, they don't enjoy great positive sentiment. If celebrated O&G companies perform half as they do, most of us we make big bags.

These great stocks are grossly undervalued:

1.Access Bank
2. Dangote Sugar
3. Nascon

They have a very tight oscillating band and a strong potential for an upward movement in the near future.

The singular reason Dangote Sugar and NASCON have been down in price is primarily caused by the Naira-dollar instability.

Surprised no one is talking about Fidelity bank. Those guys did magic in their half year result.

I already feel I will be a mess this season cheesy

Thankfully I will be able to watch evenings and every weekend plus Monday from tomorrow…

…cos, honestly, for now I am still riding my initial (Sat and Sun, small Monday) assessment, I have learnt totally nothing new about the housemates so far. I have been too busy (wailing)

Don't worry about it too much. We still have over 60days to go.

Nothing s the bear we are experiencing in the market. I know the market can be irrational.

1.On paper, we just got out of recession
2.Covid is coming under more control
3.Oil price is up
4.Companies are churning out decent profit and declaring reasonable dividend despite the challenges of 2020. One would think a bullish run should reward our companies for being resilient despite very obvious challenges of the past year.
5. The economic outlook for 2021 is even better.

What else am I missing? You can add your point.
