From the information I gathered from my friend he told me that BW offshore recruitment is only competitive that they select the best candidate where by they have large applicants they will give edge to Msc graduate and IPS except one has a first class he only say this applicable for most applicant that apply for instrumentation because they will work in downstream and Upstream.. He also told me that they always take an Helicopter from MM2 to ondo where they explore using some geophysical prospecting method.. But he tell me say man know man they exist oo...

I applied for Instrumentation Technician.. Resumption date is 04/01/2016.. A friend of mine got the same contract Job with no experience.. Now he's in money... Either Permanent or Contract Job na money be koko.. Their downstream is in ondo state.. U can only get their through Helicopter... I think they give preference to Msc degree in physics,elect/elect and computer for the position of Instrumentation technician... Best Wishes

Pls friend in the house try and make sure your transcript get to the desk of the office of the because some department like chemistry, physics and Geology will hold the department test by nov so if your transcript is not ready na OYO you dey oo some department make their evaluation base on the transcript so if they don't see It do not be surprise that you will not be call for the test.. My fellow ladokite pls do not relax because all those staff are lazy foes a friend of mine lost his ission base on this transcript issue though I don't know how they operate now because I finished 2011.

Sir, I just concluded My Msc Physics(Atmopheric Physics) in september 2015 at the famous university of Ibadan and I had B.Tech in Pure and Applied Physics(2:2) and am 26yrs now I usually see some Job vacancy online in relation to oil and gas but am always afraid because they always ask for 5-6yrs experience I usually apply since I have finished my msc, what's my chance of getting such job without having such experience but I've gone for field work on VES, some Geophysical prospecting method, Logging while drilling and Measurement while drilling, how to use terrimeter and magnetometer and more also I've my CCNA, I can analyse data also using some statistical data like spss, ferret and excel, I also use programming language such as c++ and python... I've not apply for any job except now that I've finished my msc.. pls I need ur advise.

I've been mindful of what I say on this post bros, I think the advise should be best suited to some other person(s).

I've apologised for my response because Im really not that type of person but you pointing me out for criticism is plainly unfair.

Id fight for anybody, that's the kind of person I am, we have tried a lot of things and put in the best of our efforts but if it doesn't yield results we move on. My main issue is that the way nddc has been bashed, it's painful with respect to some of us who got it through hard sweat.

I read back to back for mine, didn't even know they had a practice material during my time, it was at the exam center I saw some dudes using it. Is the system all fair, Id be irrational to say yes but then do we criticise everyone who got it? I say everyone because some people say only 10% got it fairly that means basically everyone who's a recipient doesn't merit it just because they didn't get it. It doesn't make sense if we will be honest with ourselves.

I had a 2.2 from FUTO, studied Elect/Elect Engr, I have done numerous certificate courses in the field where I'm going to do my masters and this is not me blowing my horn but then when I see a post of 90% getting it be connection it makes me wonder why people actually think they are better than others. So does that mean if they'd got it, that the system is fair?

Check my past posts even from the past forum, I'm an agreeable person and you'd only have to meet me in person or ask people who have interacted with me.

I feel hurt some don't get it justly but then we can be matured with our approach. Last year when I went for our briefing, I asked th question why the list isn't published online and they gave an answer that we all accepted be it right or wrong, be mindful I was a recipient but I asked still.

Anyways, I've apologised and not because I feel otherwise concerning my stance but because of the words I used on people who I really know nothing about.

I'll always say like I've said before, do I think the process is entirely fair? NO! Do I think the percentage who got it fairly is way way greater than the stipulated 10%? YES! Thousands wrote it, only 210/220 will be selected, it's God's favour first and of course your input that can see you through but my getting it doesn't in anyway make me feel like I'm the smartest ass out there, I just felt thankful and grateful I got it.

If anyone influenced his/her way to get to the briefing stage and he/she is not a book warm such person we get it tough over there in Uk in of grade by the time such person have terminal grade not even mphil then he/she will look back, had I know will be the story of such person.. Some Msc applicant behave childlike in this forum you can never see any one that want to go for phd in such shoe... Is not by you getting the scholarship that matter.. go get the best result and don't disgrace our nation just as your brothers did in uk because they influenced their way... I know of a lady who had 2:2 and she manage to answer 2 questions during the interview and she was given the scholarship but I have 1st class in engineering physics and I answer all the question bt I didn't have the scholarship even if by chance they give me the scholarship I will not use it cos I already had my msc in the same field of study bt I will love phd.. The look at composure is not until u answer all the question is not a yardstick that u will be given the award.. Nddc is lucky when God say is ur turn no man can take it from.. Give it try next time old and let us not base all our life on nddc, try local institution.. Msc na msc... Pls let's give it a trial If nddc no give me award other will give which am sure.. How on this troposphere someone will know that an invitation will be sent out? This is a yardstick that nddc staff is not fair..I will give it a trial for phd this time even with the bias manner of nddc I no go tire.. Phd I come again.. My msc here is as good as msc in abroad.. With this Ex-militant excerpt I it that the of nddc board that belong to pdp are all corrupt i will back it up with my stances: I know of someone who is a pilot now that didn't even enrolled for the nddc application but at the final stage he was called for briefing, when this fellow didn't even go online and fill the application form, how come? (2) the last interview in ph was rubbish.. Why did they cut the 10k down to 5k, we that were interview the last day, the 5k was buried I smell a foul play that day.. I left my school to ph with my own tf and they didn't pay me dime pls was not pained by the money I've travelled all the way to OIST, Japan this year Just for Phd interview(unsuccessful outcome) they paid for my flight ticket to-fro even with a comfortable accommodation I'm not saying this to eulogize myself but all things should be done diligently and accordance..
