So I graduated last year 2023 may precisely but I have not gone for Nysc. So last year October/November I filled the nysc mobilization form, that is the form that gets your name added to the Senate list of your school. So when I went to submit the form at the student affairs department in my school I was told that there is an error. The date of birth on my jamb is June 17 2001 but my correct date of birth is June 17 2002. Now throughout my stay in school I never bothered to go back to jamb office to correct the date of birth because I thought that jamb result was useless after gaining ission, I never knew that jamb will still be used for Nysc. So at the student affairs office, the officer in charge advice me that if I want to use the correct date of birth which is 2002 that I shouldn't submit nysc mobilization form and that I should go back to jamb office and correct the date of birth or I should submit the mobilization form and go to nin office to change my date of birth from 2002 to 2001. So I decided to choose the second option which is for me to submit the mobilization form and go to nin office to change my date of birth from 2002 to 2001. Though I only submitted the mobilization form but I did not go to nin office to change my date of birth as I was busy with work. Now fast forward to 2024 February precisely, I then changed my mind that I will go with the first option that the student affairs officer suggested, which is for me to go to jamb office and correct the date of birth. Now the thing is that I have already corrected the date of birth at Jamb office and my school have also updated their record. But my worry now is Nysc, since what I wrote on the mobilization form was 2001. Should I go ahead and with the jamb corrected date of birth 2002 which is my original date of birth on all my documents including my nin, Or is it that same 2001 that I wrote on my mobilization form that I will have to with. Also note that i only wrote Neco, cause I am aware that you can only use your Olevel WAEC to correct your nysc date of birth during nysc registration and that Neco can't be used. Honestly I am just confused now. Cause I am planning to this June Batch B2. Please your contributions and advice are needed.

Hello all please your advice is seriously needed. So I inherited a 5 bedroom duplex in Abuja from my late father and I am seriously thinking of turning this house into a shortlet apartment. I am the first son and will be turning 22 this year. Plus I already graduated from university. So I am confused on if I should venture into this business or not. So I will appreciate your sincere advise and I don't know if this can be moved to the front page, so it can be seen by more people. Thank you and I will be in the comment section.

First of all forget about your pastor. Then secondly you can learn a skill online for free trust me. With YouTube and google you can learn a skill for free, so far you have data. Me personally I am 21 years old and I run some online and offline businesses through the skills I learnt online for free, and I have been able to do some things for myself through what I earn from this businesses, though I am not yet where I want to be, but at least now is better that my past. I rented an apartment last year, but I had to move back to my parents house this year. Cause sincerely, living alone is not easy and I am currently still in my parents house and I don't care whatever anyone says or will say. Untill I am ready to move out again before I do, no one can make me live my parents house. Now use your phone and data, go online and research for skills that you can learn and start earning from for free. Example are Graphic design, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Video Editing, Social Media Management, Virtual Assistant Service, Customer Agent Service and many more that don't require any capital or little capital to start. Trust me all the skills I listed above are skills that I learnt online for free and I am earning from them by charging businesses and individuals to handle a job for them. So stop complaining about that skill part. 2ndly concerning that university part, I know how it feels, though I am a graduate of University of Abuja. But my advice to you is to learn the skills I recommended for you, then when you start making money, then you can apply to universities that have cheap tuition fee. Like National Open University, JPTS University, Iconic Open University and many more like that. Just carry out your research online. Stop complaining and get to work and I pray that God sees you through. Me personally I promised myself that by age 20 I would make my first million, but till now, I haven't made my first million and I am not complaining. So man never give up, cause nothing good comes easy in life.
