Sir forget this homily. Do you 2023? The eve of the Presidential Elections, everyone posted the popular South African liberation song in the movie SaraFina "FREEDOM IS COMING TOMORROW". With all the irregularities that marred that election, what happened? Nothing. Nigerians believe that one day, God will slaughter all the enemies of the state; that God will one day eliminate all the bad guys in Nigeria; that God will fix the economy, the roads, etc; that God will end hunger and fix our electoral system where only the right people will emerge. THEY LIE. God had already transferred that power to the citizens, so He doesn't do those manual chores anymore.

Only the citizens can fix those issues. Check other countries of the world. They fixed their countries by themselves. The USA, China, Ghana, Sudan, Liberia, etc.

God has already kept someone in place (jn fact many) to redeem Nigeria, but bigotry won't let you and I go for the right person. If its my thief, i protect him with all my strength, and if he's your thief, you protect him with all your strength. How then do we expect any change? At the end of the day we blackmail God as if there's anything that God has not already done for Nigeria. Let's keep enjoying our choices until the day we will say enough is enough. My problem is these fuuls visit other countries and see how things work, yet they come here and behave as if they're in the zoo. It beats my imagination.

Since they couldn't find a common ground, aborting mission was the best option, else they would have a marriage filled with bitterness, rancour and frustrations.

Once a courtship fails the next comment people make is "they were not meant for each other" .
Instead of facing the truth we are quick to draw conclusions.

If this is the true narrative, firstly the young man is not man enough to have a woman in his life, if his mum decides for him, secondly it's normal sometimes to have a slight issue with whose church to attend after marriage when both partners are of different denominations, sitting down and humbly discussing it to reach a compromise, coupled with maturity will eliminate that threat.
As long as the person believes in Jesus Christ, is genuinely born again, submits to bible based doctrines, that's most important thing.
