The major problem with UNN is putting up large projects at once thereby leaving them uncomplicated at the long run. If UNN had completed most of her projects like the Mariam Babangida Amphitheater, Sports complex (Games village) infrastructure, New Post Graduate Complex, the istrative building at UNEC, the proposed Senate building and so many other buildings left unattended to, then it will amongst the top varsities with infrastructure.


When it comes to planning and layouts, the campus is well executed but since after the Civil War the school has been lacking in infrastructure but hurriedly putting up so many projects to catch up is trudging her pace to development.

The current istration is trying all they can to maintain what they have whilst trying to get fundings from the private sector since the federal government and TETFUND are lagging behind.

Yeah, I'm depressed but I won't commit sucide. I won't. I just needed to talk to someone, I feel it would be nice if I poured my heart out here.

I'm a student in one of the federal university in Eastern Easter Nigeria. I struggled to pay my fees last session and it took the strike to give me some time to gather it. I posted that I needed help here but no one did anything and even the person that asked me to email him ended up snubbing me. I can't blame him or anyone here seeing as online begging is rampant and it's difficult knowing who's genuine.

Mum and dad separated when I was nine and my mum has been the one catering for I and my two siblings from my primary school till now. I couldn't burden her with my fees because she's got my siblings to take care of and I tried doing all sorts of legal menial jobs to her and myself.

Soon, we'll resume for a new session and I'm really scared of tomorrow. I hate looking at my balance, I've tried to see all I can do from taking up photography to simple graphic designs but they can only do a little. I don't know what tomorrow holds but I know I'm going to overcome. I'll pull through.

I'm telling you this as a bonafide Student of UNN, they won't ask for your o'level until you've been itted.
All you just need is to have credit es in your relevant o'level subjects. UNN conducts CBT exams for it's post utme and that's what y'all should be preparing for.

The girl was declared missing after she made a Facebook post of committing Suicide few days after the death of her boy friend a 400 level student in thesame institution Chukwuemeka Akachi who committed suicide by drinking two bottles of snipers.

She's got her own demons too. She was found after taking a sachet of hypo, right now she's in the medical centre battling for her life .

It's high time the department of SOCIAL WORK UNN to establish a unit to manage depression and mental related issues.
Sometimes, too much reading of books about the celestial world (imaginary world) could be a contributor to taking such action. The human mind is very symbolic.

My thoughts: his death is more philosophical than a mere sucide.
I implore the university to go closely to the deceased profile, his life and time to carry out a thorough useful academic research on belief system as it affects human actions.

A final year student of UNN; specifically 400l ELS student died few hours ago.
The student whose name is Chukwuemeka Akachi dropped suicide note earlier today in his facebook timeline which read thus:
"Suicide Note.
Forgive me. In case you are the one who found the body, I am really sorry. It had to be someone, you know. I have chosen Jo Nketaih’s poem as my suicide note: “They said you came looking for me. I didn’t drown; I was the water.” Where do atheists go to when they die? lol. Amen".

He later took 2 bottles of sniper during the day; he was caught and rushed to University Clinic,UNN then to UNTH Enugu where he finally gave up the ghost.

Suicide is not an option; students are thereby advised to check on their friends/Classmates especially this exam period.
Always Open up to people whenever something is bothering you; don't die in silence for suicide is not an option.
