Good day everyone....I applied for a visa with my dependant and we did bio the same day , the same time...I got my visa and she hasn’t gotten hers..And there’s no message for additional document or whatsoever...Any suggestion please 🙏

Good morning everyone...Please about my marriage evidence..I’ve done my traditional wedding which I have series of pictures of it but I’ve not done my court wedding which I’m planning to do on Thursday...But my question is hope it won’t cause any problem doing a court wedding and apply for my visa the next day...My relationship is genuine as I’ve been with my wife since 2020..We have over 1000 pictures today in the same attire and with families...I’ll appreciate every suggestions.

I planned to apply for my visa alongside my wife as my dependant..But we won’t be able to apply together because her port isn’t ready yet ...So I’ve decided to apply alone now what I want to know is that if her port should be ready and I’ve already applied, Can she apply for dependant visa immediately even if I’m still in Nigeria or she will have to wait till I travel before she can apply for her dependant visa..

I just got an email from Coventry University asking me to make early payment for tuition to be eligible for discount even though they are yet to send me an offer letter.

Does this mean my application for ission into their postgraduate programme has been accepted and I will subsequently get the offer letter or this is just the normal email they send to all applicants
I am asking so I know if I should immediately initiate Form A process.

Calm down and wait for the offer letter (Unconditional preferably)

Please I have been given a conditional offer and my condition was to provide a personal statement which will make me get an unconditional offer and proceed to making deposit...I have already submitted another person statement as requested from the school..But what I want to know now is if I can proceed with my form A pending the time that the school will respond with my unconditional offer letter...
All suggestions will be appreciated.

If you captured at Abeokuta NIS on or before September 21 you should go and collect your port now, pretty sure it's ready if there's no issue in the process that you see on the tracker. If it's showing port in production since August or September, it's pretty much all printed now except for those with issues (NIN issues, etc.). The collection process is a shitshow as usual but you'll get it at the end of the day, though you might spend your whole day waiting there and leave around 7 pm if you refuse to bribe anyone.

P.S.: I collected mine today but it's still showing production in progress on the tracker.

Please I have an observation concerning my wife..She is a medical doctor here in Nigeria and she will be going with me as a dependent...She has written her ielts and plab 1 here also ...When we get to Uk can she apply for plab 2 and get to be a licensed doctor over there...Hope she being a dependent to me won’t affect anything...Because it’s like there are certain restrictions to the kind of job a dependent can do ...Hope this won’t affect her.

How long does it take you from online application to data capturing?

My own application used about 3 weeks sha....it’s just that its the appointment date that is very hard to get which I ended up seeing 30th of august..And that was around June when I applied.

Please does anyone know if fast track truly work for port processing

They will collect your old port too and you will have to buy a small envelope and a file when you get there

My experience at the immigration office this morning in Abeokuta
I got to the office around 12:30pm I met the officers( all female officers) and I told them I’m here to submit my documents because my appointment date for capturing is 30th of august and they said okay I should meet one of the female officers to attend to me ...To cut the story short they told me all the documents I need to present then I brought them out..They said I will need to buy a file, a small envelope and I will have to write an application letter which I did from one of the business centers ( they already have the formats, Just give them your port) so getting back to the office after printing my application letter , the officer that was attending to me now said I can’t get the 30th of august that was stated on my appointment letter that I will get the middle of September..I was like wow � don’t you follow the printout, she said she has the final say that it’s what she write on the file that they will treat ...I was like this is serious ooo... I told her how I was in a rush to get my port done and she said what do I want her to do for me...Then I told her I want my own appointment date gangan ...That was when she said I should speak the language that she will understand...I already knew where she was helding to but I was still pretending...That was when she openly told me that I have to pay 5k so I can get my date...And she showed me files with 5k each in it ...That was when I had to cooperate too cos if I want to go strong head she will do what she wants to do...

I don't really have an answer to this tjouhj. However, last year my friend shown his dad's balance of 1.5M naira and he got his visa approved. Also on this platform, someone said he provided a bank statement of 8M or so but was still denied.

I may not know categorically what the embassies check out for sha, however, I will advise you have money enough to show u can carter for your fees, living expenses including feeding, flight and so on AT LEAST for the first one year.. I stand to be corrected anyway..
