Your father too snatched our money. It is only in Nigeria that the child of a thief will still be strutting around social media instead of being in exile covering her head in shame.

Addicted2Women: I tore my Nigerian port the very day i got my American citizenship.
Why arrest an innocent business man ??
It's just like arresting a food seller for selling food to an arm robber and the arm robber paid with the money he got from a robbery operation.
The Nigerian high court said Nnamdi KANU was not guilty and should be released from jail immediately but Buhari remanded him in jail, does it mean Nigeria is lawless ?? Oh, i forgot Democracy died the very day Goodluck Jonathan left office.
Nigerian government is just weak.
Let them arrest American citizen and see what happens.
Wailers will wail.

Microflux:
We Failed, Yet Again.
Is our resumption a good news or the opposite? I had patiently waited for this day, it seems this day will never come but alas! It's here. I had waited for a day, that the university Senate will announce our resumption and we will retreat from the war field and accept our fate. It's pitiable that my early presumptions became a reality today. That's why am taking pains to write to pour out my grievances in a mannered way.
Before I proceed, I will like to ring eulogy to the ears of the university vice chancellor in person of Prof. Bamitale Omole. Sir, I respect your mental reasoning you really showed us that "To omode ba ni aso to agba, ko le ni akisa to agba." You checkmated all the ways of our so-called SU that they called intellectual. You won the battle even before its start. You reasoned like us and like a common man and you won. I will like to say we need intellect like you in these country who can use their mental orientation to changed this land. Also, I Will like to believe you are a good chess player, and I Will like to test your skills because am also a fan of chess board game. God bless you memory.
However, I will say we failed again, I had known this from the start of the ... When the nonsensical slang "WAR" filled the airwaves of OAU. The war started when we are never ready for anything. All we are clamoring is good welfare and forget that our SU is filled with people of crippled minds who many of us, students are better of than at the helms of affairs, people who can not reason amidst themselves and generate innovative ideas that can change the school for good other than to sit down for hours composing grammers which are destructive in nature. The SU can not preview and review events but can spend money on useless adventures.
Instead of called a confab amidst outselves to deliberate on issues besetting us we decided to dazzle into a fight with the management that as sufficient weapons to fight the war which now cost us 3 weeks. This is unethical!
Why we Failed.....
* The SU as a whole are not united, 90% of them are there for fame, power and money. Wherby, the zeal to serve cannot sustain democracy but proper understanding of the precept can grow a sustainable democracy.
* We go to war without preparing. Levus' writer anchor Deji Akin was just suggesting flyers at the late hour.
* The students' union budget has no space for money to fund struggles this is unexpected from an educated leader.
* Our pastors and imams , do not pray for the SU and management, they only pray on G.P and avoiding hell not knowing bad welfare can take you to hell and make your GP epileptic.
I submit this but, I think the proscribtion of the SU is a good idea. Is better not to have a gate than to have a blind man as your gateman.
If the management fail to provide good welfare for us, the SU can spur them up by their actions. If they buy cwcs and call the management to fix it, they will be challenged to work and this can be easily financed not putting almost two million Naira into call buget. I drop my pen, saying we had failed again, looking through God on the next SU president.
Happy resumption
Daarasimi
A part one student of OAU
I'm really sorry for Nigeria, if a student could come up with this. I am a graduate of the University of Ibadan, who has visited OAU twice to know that even as bad as things are in U.I, students live like kings, compared to the slum-like hostels OAU students stay in. Instead of staying on point, you went on to attack the SUG of your University like they were responsible for the state of things in the school. You must be really naïve to think that patronising the school management on social media will set you out as a critical thinker. Rather the opposite is the case. You come off to me as a potential victim of the Stockholm's syndrome. This is not about the S.U or about your pastors and imams (how ridiculous). This is about the right of students to demand better living conditions and ability from s in the academic sphere. Most irritating of this piece, was the hint of iration at the way the VC handled the matter. Fifth columnists like you are the reason I'm scared for the future of this country. While some are putting their academic pursuits on the line to protest unfair treatment by the bourgeoisie, the proletariat is being infiltrated by collaborators.

Sheik Zakzaky should just back down..last year, his 3 sons were murdered by the Army. How many heads rolled? A balls-less COAS ordered his troops to fire on a bunch of misguided teens carrying sticks. In a sane country, he would either resign or get kicked out in shame. If this shiites get out of hand, boko haram will be childsplay compared to what these folks will become. I can't believe we just voted out a corrupt and clueless government and replaced it with a directionless and hypocritical one..Buratai must resign.

I still don't get it. Define "Ruling Houses"; and is the new King not an offspring of the late king? Maybe I didn't understand your last line well.
Ruling Houses are more like "Contributors" to kingship. A ruling hous e is in the technical sense of it, a royal family. When a king dies, the Ruling House or royal family that is next in line on a rotational basis, will be the next to produce a king. The present Ooni's sons will never become Ooni unless maybe if the cycle is completely rotated among the five houses. A complete rotation will take almost 100 years. So no, the title of "Prince" is merely a ceremonial one.

GelTleStar:
But I'm still wondering why the Elder of the Princes didn't take over from their late father.
In almost all Yoruba monarchies, coronation is rotated among "Ruling Houses"..It is not ed down through a King's offspring.

If our airforce is not rejuvenated our troops would be continually humiliated. We need 3rd generational jets with precision strike take out BH technicals so the boys would go in and wipe out the remaining foot militias, now the December deadline is not attainable.
I agree...The December deadline is a joke..You can't wipe out a well equipped and highly motivated force of almost 20,000 men in just 9 months!. I see this war dragging on for the next 2-3 yrs at least.

frumentius: Rooivalk successfully completes test-firing of 70mm laser-guided rockets!
"The Belgium-based arms manufacturer Forges de Zeebrugge (FZ), subsidiary of Thales Group, announced on Friday, Nov. 27, the completion of a successful test firing campaign with its 70 mm laser-guided rocket. The test firings of the new FZ275LGR rocket were conducted in South Africa in late October from a Rooivalk helicopter in service with the South African Air Force (SAAF).
"Performed at Denel's Overberg Test Range, this successful campaign is the latest major milestone in the development of FZ's new 70 mm laser-guided weapon. With precision to within 1 metre, this new guided air-ground rocket improves target engagement capabilities while reducing platform vulnerability. It meets today’s needs of the armed forces by reducing the risk of collateral damage, particularly during asymmetric combat operations.
"The successful test firings confirm the reliability and maturity of the new rocket, which costs significantly less than a missile," said FZ.
"The advantage of the laser guidance is its precision to minimise collateral damage. FZ275LGR will reach a hit-target ability with less than one meter (CEP<1m). Due to the t Fire Team marking the target even moving vehicles progressing at a speed up to 60km/h can be destroyed. The maximum operational range for laser guided rocket FZ275LGR is about 6 km."

Nda aspirants.. Good day
I knw ur ears are itching so i wanna bring a little relief. Below are d stages for selection into the NDA.
1) jamb: jamb is d first stage. If u u will be notified by d nda to print ur exam card and u will also hv to get ur post card ready. A post card is the bigger version of a port.
2)NDAEE: u write d exam.. 4 subjects, 40 questions each. Similar to ur jamb subjects. U are advised to study ur compendium.
3)AFSB: 50 candts per state are chosen... Dats d best 50.. And dey will be alerted via text or email as d case maybe.. Dis are d candts to go for interview. During d interview u will go tru 5 major stages.
i) credential screening: dis stage is normal u will knw weda u will move on or not b4 credentials. As far as u aint doing anytin fishy.. U will d stage..
ii) medical screening: here ur number wud reduce cos d pipo hu defaulted in credentials wud hv gone home.. Ur ECG, BP, blood, sight, private part, pile, teeth , bow leg, height( guys 1.68) (gals 1.55 or dere abt) weight, urine and flat foot. Flat foot is d least considered if ur oda things are good and God is with u flat foot wont take u out.. After dis stage u move to d next.
iii) the 3.2 km race dis stage just jog normallly. Except u want to be d academy horse. But normal jogging will do.. Dis is d last stage of eviction. Altho in 67 dere was no eviction at dis stage.. Den next is d obstacle crosing( group and individual)
Next anoda round of examination and psycological test, d next day sand modelling and finally face board turn by turn state by state till everyone is through..
U can only hope and pray for d final list. 10 pipo will be chosen and 3 reserves. Some states 11 and 3 reserves.
Note: d greatest eviction occurs at medicals.
I hope dis helps someone to knw wats ahead go to you tube and "the making of a military officer".
Good luck
Chukwu Chiedozie Nzube
Ill be 21 yrs 5 months at time of entry (If itted)..Will that be a problem during credentials screening?
