Concerning POF please if you are the primary applicant but your accompanying spouse has the pod in their and you don’t. How do you guys go about it?

She can transfer the money to the P.A.'s and the P.A. writes an LOE on the transaction. Two equals one in marriage and they understand that.

Thanks for this. I've done an extensive research on this. It's just for community or hospital pharmacist.
Industrial or those switching careers can use WES
The fee is much considering the last healthcare draw, there were no pharmacists
https://www.canadim.com/news/express-entry-draw-284/amp/

Pharmacist is not part of the healthcare category. The aim is to have your bachelor of pharmacy degree evaluated as a professional degree which gets you same points as a masters degree holder. Then, claim experience as a pharmacy assistant which is part of the occupation in healthcare category.

I equally just saw this PEBC on WES site now. Is it different from ECA?
Pls who would be kind enough to explain this

It is different from WES but classified as an ECA. Only licensed/ed pharmacist are required to go through this process. Once you complete the evaluation, your degree is assessed as being equivalent to a professional degree. This puts you in the same category as masters degree holders.

Good Morning Everyone
Please I need your opinion.
I’m a pharmacist by profession and I have picked my NOC and put in my work experience as well. I didn’t get ITA from the last draw. Now someone suggested something for which I have come to seek your wise counsel. that when filing in your work experience in your profile, for every job you have done you will be required to select an NOC code for that job before stating the duration you worked for all of that. The suggestion was that I should edit the NOC of my first job (title and experience) to that of pharmacy assistant while I leave my other jobs (titles and experiences) to be under the pharmacist NOC. Reasons been that for the healthcare draw pharmacists are not usually selected just pharmacy assistants. My question is that is it advisable to do that even though the roles of my first job is quite similar to that of the pharmacy assistant. Also pharmacists on this forum that have gotten ITA from the healthcare draw and those that are in the pool should please drop their opinion as well. The whole thing has just been confusing me so I thought to ask for help.
Thank you and hope to hear from you all.

For context, my sister is a pharmacist and claimed experience as a pharmacist assistant. Previous experience which she populated in her personal history, indicates she was a pharmacist in different organizations. She got ITA and subsequently, her visa has been issued with no problem. I can confidently state that there is no problem claiming experience with pharmacist assitant. Make sure your reference letter reflects the responsibilities of an assistant and evaluate your degree with PEBC (pharmacy evaluating board of Canada). All the best.

Thanks again, Both of us are already in Canada.

Still, I'd advice you delay the marriage until you submit. Same rules apply whether in Canada or not.

Hello, house.

I got an ITA and already have marriage plans, please what is the best way to add my spouse to my PR? note i already got ITA today but i have fixed my wedding for the end of this month. is it possible to still add her?

If you get married and add her as a spouse, your score will be recalcuted. You may or may not meet the cut off. Best bet is submit your application prior to the marriage. Get married after submission (AOR), and raise a webform indicating a change in marital status. Whether she accompanies you to Canada or not, the POF must reflect the new family composition. Please take that into . All the best.

Congratulations to her...
Please how long did the entire process take? I mean, from the time she created an EE profile to when she got PR.

I created a profile for her November, 2023. The timeline I posted can give you a glimpse to the duration of the process.

As long as there is a gift deed. The money can enter into the that same day.

The gift deed explains the huge influx of money. No need to show statement for 6 months. Just make sure the time period shown includes that money.

All the best to you all. Your sister is right.

Thank you for the response.

Hi,

Asking for my sister. If you are using deed of gift as POF, do you still need to show up to 6 months bank statement? Does 1 month suffice? She is under the assumption that there is no need for 6 months bank statement.

After seeing my fourth Ghost update on Sunday, I called an IRCC agent on Monday. The agent informed me that all stages had been completed/ed on July 30, 2022, and a note is on my profile requesting the CIO to send the read for Visa email. Again, how much time would wait before I receive PPR?

In a matter of days depending on the VO. Congrats in advance.

Hi Guys,

So I just received my PPR. It has been such a long and arduous journey. It is close to nine months after my first ppr and subsequent addition of my spouse. I wish those still about to get their PPR a resounding goodluck in your journey. Just hang in there, it would get to us all. And to @GraciousWords, thanks for all you do for the community here.

I think they reviewed the POF upward again recently but just a few extra dollars as usual. Google POF family of two and it will bring out their POF link. Also use the Oanda currency conversion site to confirm current exchange rate. You can’t be guessing any exchange rate before someone denies your application over one cent lol. Oh and congrats too, any movement is movement. We’re inching closer to Canada cheesy

Hello guys,

So I woke up this morning to an update in my application. I was asked to send an updated POF in seven days. That's a good move I suppose. Meanwhile, just to confirm from the house, is the current POF for a family of two still CAD16,500? Not sure, because I saw something like an update in funds required by IRCC a while back. Plus, is the official rate still 320 per 1 CAD, and I guess that's what I should use. Cheers.

Thanks for the check up. Hmmm small news o. So, finally my medicals was ed after doing a second one. I am not sure which was ed actually; the upfront I did in January, or the one I did based on their request. Secondly, I have been calling IRCC weekly for the past three weeks, and each time I call, I am told security is in progress. Every other remains ed save for security (4 weeks and counting) which is taking longer than anticipated. I also got to know that my file has been moved from Montreal to Edmonton after my wife's BIL was updated - probably to finalize who knows, but I wish they could stop moving this file around and just finalize. It is getting to 7 months after my first ppr and six months after spousal addition and I am still waiting. It is so tiring and frustrating, but I am glad there has been a lot of progress on the application since then. Fingers crossed you'd be sorted soon as well. All the best to us.

You could have gone to the hospital with your remed request, they will link your upfront with it instead of doing another medical.
Also, that it's not reflecting in your doesn't mean it has not been received. It has not just been processed yet

We did upfront in February and it was ed in 3 working days. Ppr came in march
Did you send a mail with your upfront details to London assessment centre?

Thanks for the input. I have been to IOM twice where I requested for a re-link but they stated that it can only be linked once after it is submitted to the portal. They advised I could try doing the requested medicals. Plus I have sent countless emails and webforms, even to the london assessment centre. I know it hasn't been processed; the agent I spoke to today said the same thing, but I am trying to reduce the duration of uncertainty(not knowing when) in my application.

If I were you and money was not a problem, I would go ahead with the remed request and forget about the upfront meds. Once the meds are updated by the clinic, IRCC seems to be updating and ing them very quickly these days.

I don't think you'll have any problems. The only difference may be validity of your COPR when they issue it may vary depending on if they assess your upfront meds from before or your remeds from May.

Thanks a lot for your input as usual. I would do that tomorrow.

Hello Guys,

I am tired of waiting for the upfront medicals I did since January 11 to be processed and updated on my profile. I have spoken to numerous agents and they keep telling me to be patient and all. Since I have received a request for medicals since the 27th of April, I have gone ahead to pay and book another medical examination for tomorrow. What are the ramifications of having two medicals on my file (one upfront and the second requested by IRCC)? Has anybody been in this position? I would need more clarity reagrding this conundrum before my medical appointment tomorrow. Please help with your suggestions.
