Skrr8: She can transfer the money to the P.A.'s and the P.A. writes an LOE on the transaction. Two equals one in marriage and they understand that. |

PrettyRX: Pharmacist is not part of the healthcare category. The aim is to have your bachelor of pharmacy degree evaluated as a professional degree which gets you same points as a masters degree holder. Then, claim experience as a pharmacy assistant which is part of the occupation in healthcare category. |

PrettyRX: It is different from WES but classified as an ECA. Only licensed/ed pharmacist are required to go through this process. Once you complete the evaluation, your degree is assessed as being equivalent to a professional degree. This puts you in the same category as masters degree holders. Blackshaid: For context, my sister is a pharmacist and claimed experience as a pharmacist assistant. Previous experience which she populated in her personal history, indicates she was a pharmacist in different organizations. She got ITA and subsequently, her visa has been issued with no problem. I can confidently state that there is no problem claiming experience with pharmacist assitant. Make sure your reference letter reflects the responsibilities of an assistant and evaluate your degree with PEBC (pharmacy evaluating board of Canada). All the best. 1 Like |

JapaPrince: Still, I'd advice you delay the marriage until you submit. Same rules apply whether in Canada or not. 2 Likes |

JapaPrince: If you get married and add her as a spouse, your score will be recalcuted. You may or may not meet the cut off. Best bet is submit your application prior to the marriage. Get married after submission (AOR), and raise a webform indicating a change in marital status. Whether she accompanies you to Canada or not, the POF must reflect the new family composition. Please take that into . All the best. |

Hi, Asking for my sister. If you are using deed of gift as POF, do you still need to show up to 6 months bank statement? Does 1 month suffice? She is under the assumption that there is no need for 6 months bank statement. |

Hi Guys, So I just received my PPR. It has been such a long and arduous journey. It is close to nine months after my first ppr and subsequent addition of my spouse. I wish those still about to get their PPR a resounding goodluck in your journey. Just hang in there, it would get to us all. And to @GraciousWords, thanks for all you do for the community here. 26 Likes |

Hello guys, So I woke up this morning to an update in my application. I was asked to send an updated POF in seven days. That's a good move I suppose. Meanwhile, just to confirm from the house, is the current POF for a family of two still CAD16,500? Not sure, because I saw something like an update in funds required by IRCC a while back. Plus, is the official rate still 320 per 1 CAD, and I guess that's what I should use. Cheers. |

Thanks for the check up. Hmmm small news o. So, finally my medicals was ed after doing a second one. I am not sure which was ed actually; the upfront I did in January, or the one I did based on their request. Secondly, I have been calling IRCC weekly for the past three weeks, and each time I call, I am told security is in progress. Every other remains ed save for security (4 weeks and counting) which is taking longer than anticipated. I also got to know that my file has been moved from Montreal to Edmonton after my wife's BIL was updated - probably to finalize who knows, but I wish they could stop moving this file around and just finalize. It is getting to 7 months after my first ppr and six months after spousal addition and I am still waiting. It is so tiring and frustrating, but I am glad there has been a lot of progress on the application since then. Fingers crossed you'd be sorted soon as well. All the best to us. Dimple10: 4 Likes |

barby008: Thanks for the input. I have been to IOM twice where I requested for a re-link but they stated that it can only be linked once after it is submitted to the portal. They advised I could try doing the requested medicals. Plus I have sent countless emails and webforms, even to the london assessment centre. I know it hasn't been processed; the agent I spoke to today said the same thing, but I am trying to reduce the duration of uncertainty(not knowing when) in my application. 1 Like |

Hello Guys, I am tired of waiting for the upfront medicals I did since January 11 to be processed and updated on my profile. I have spoken to numerous agents and they keep telling me to be patient and all. Since I have received a request for medicals since the 27th of April, I have gone ahead to pay and book another medical examination for tomorrow. What are the ramifications of having two medicals on my file (one upfront and the second requested by IRCC)? Has anybody been in this position? I would need more clarity reagrding this conundrum before my medical appointment tomorrow. Please help with your suggestions. 1 Like |
