Ahmed Gulak, a Fulani APC member was killed in Imo by Unknown gunmen, they blamed IPOB without any evidence and killed 10 boys who allegedly stole onions.

Prof Godswill Obioma, an Igbo APC member & NECO Boss was killed in Niger State by unknown gunmen as narrated by his wife, they say it’s heart attack.

What more can you expect from this animalistic government that favours cow more than human being, this is the next level.

1. If you are into Fish, Snail, Pig, Rabbit or Poultry farming, unless you are planning to constitute a nuisance to your Neighbourhood you will go somewhere around and acquire a space that is suitable for farming in the community.

You rent, lease or otherwise buy the land outrightly.

You will build pens. You will drill borehole. You will get water reservoirs to retain water. You will plan for electricity. You will arrange accomodation for your staff. You will plan for feeds for whatever you are rearing. You will factor so many things which are already fixed in your proposals or business plan.

You probably got a loan or you are in partnership with some like-minded folks or saved over time.

Sometimes you are lucky to have kind people give you financial . Sometimes you are lucky to have some Government agencies assist with some funding.

You brace the odds and you may just make your profit, the margins will vary from person to person according to diligence and other factors.

2. If you are into CROP farming, you pretty well do the same thing, only that you get wider expanse of lands and more worries about water for irrigation and sometimes flood control.

3. But the man rearing cattle in Nigeria doesn't want to buy land. He doesn't want to buy feeds. He doesn't want to do boreholes. He doesn't want to have any business with electricity. He doesn't have plans to pay house rent. He hardly has business to do with the Vet Doctors.

He doesn't want to build any ranch for his cattle.

What he wants to do is roam his cattle freely on the private properties of others, graze on their land and give his animals water, all free of charge. He wants to do business without paying for anything the way others are doing.

He also wants to be able to enter the farm you have spent a fortune and laboured on so he can uproot all your crops to feed his animals.

He is into business to put as little as wickedly possible and get maximum profit achievable.

While the other farmers compulsorily PAY TAXES, he has nothing to do with taxes, you can't even locate him for taxes.

YET, this particular farmer has to be the "Federal Character" of the same country where we are said to be equal Citizens.

1.The Government has to GAZETTE lands for him.
2. Every state Governor must create a special department in his office dedicated to pampering him.
3. His matter is constant National discussion.
4. His one trade union has special recognition in the Federal Government such that they have to be begged to play with Tens of Billions of Naira.
5. His own business is so crucially important, he must share authority with the monarchs in every community he settles.
6. He is such a specially endangered specie that he is duly justified to carry AK47 about.

I then ask: What's the big deal about this branch of farming that makes it more important than the others or could it be about the Pastoralists and not his herds?

Please I advise all my friends on nairaland, especially most of us staying in FCT, Lagos, Kano, to think twice b4 ing the multitudes that would jump into the street by 4th of May tomorrow Monday, we can't come this far to go back fast...4th May is not the expiration date for the virus, you can still contract it, so think twice before you make the decision of going out and if you finally decide to go out please be more careful than you have been.

Spanish flu of 1918 killed over 50million persons reason been that when the isolation was relaxed then, people rushed into the street to begin their normal life without been mindful of the fact that the flu was still around and within the first three weeks of the relaxation, over 35million persons lost their lives. Let's not give room for history to repeat itself... Extend your own lockdown beyond 4th May if you can.
While countries like America, Italy and China were in lockdown, their governments were busy disinfecting the streets of their nations. While Nigerians were on lockdown, our government were struggling to grapple with how to get clear and proactive approach to curb or curtail the pandemic amid dilapited and rundown infrastrural facilities that they have neglected over the years and also no radical approach but haphazard and fire brigades where there aren't functional fire trucks to quench the bush fire already ignited by COVID-19. The haphazard disinfections measures measures put in place to checkmate the spread of the virus were laughable. Now America, Italy, China are relaxing their lock down, our copy copy government are also relaxing ours. The citizens of the above nations will go into well disinfected streets while we will carelessly rush into highly infected streets....think twice.

America, China and other nations began to think of relaxing their lockdown when they started experiencing low record of Coronavirus case but our myopic government chose to relax our lockdown even when we are still experiencing massive increase of the virus.
If wisdom has eluded our leaders in aspect of decision making, let wisdom not also elude us in making our own personal decision. Be guided, think twice, stay home and stay save, Those who will tell the story of this Coronavirus are those that took painstaking measures to stay indoors, you can choose to be one of us....
