Hello everyone. Please i am 19 years old and i am a student at university of Ghana. I have just 2 years to graduate but my fees are almost 5 million per year since i am a nigerian student. My parents are saying i should come back to nigeria and start all over at university of Ibadan since it is cheaper. The fact that 1GHS(ghana cedi)=51.6 NGN does not mean cedi is stronger..it is all thanks to re-denomination that makes it so.. But you need to understand that 51.6 ngn have a stronger value in of buying an item compared to 1GHS. By exchange rate, the GHS is higher than the cfa, but the cfa is stronger than the cedi..

Have you ever gone to change money in Nigeria and you try changing the "ghs" to Ngn? Those dealers would tell you that the ghs is bad. Unlike when you change CFA.

The Ghana Cedi is one of the worst currency in Africa.

Here are 5 facts:

1. Ghana is older than Nigeria. Ghana gained independence 1957, while Nigeria gained independence 1960. That I am as tall as Goliath, but 3 years younger than you does not make me your elder brother.

2. Ghana cedi is much stronger than Naira. That's to portray Ghana's economic maturity.

3. Ghana has an enviably stable electricity supply.

4. Ghana has lower crime rate compared to Nigeria.

5. Ghana has a very good international image. So many sites that ban Nigerian residents accept Ghana residents.

CONCLUSION:
