A Nigerian named Tobi Alaga has been killed in Toronto, Canada.

Alaga was murdered in the early hours of Monday around College Street and Spadina Avenue in a shooting that ensued from altercation.

Local report said, two or three persons were in dispute, and along the line one of them pulled out a gun and shot another person three times in his chest.

It resulted in the death of the 41-year-old Nigerian after fruitless efforts to keep him alive at the hospital he was rushed to.

OrijoReporter further gathered that the deceased grew up at Anthony in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, and attended Aladura High School in the same area.

We've lived in Toronto since 2007 and Tobi was the one who originally introduced me to Drake and Chris Bosh. Back around 2009 he was the one who could make a party come alive and everyone was drawn to him.

I spoke to Tobi last week and he was home with his family. He stopped going out to parties and such since probably 2015. All he did these days was chill, make money and spend time with his family and friends who by the way we're mostly top professionals widely regarded in all their fields of profession.

I'm trying to figure out what he was doing out that late. Again because Tobi had been fully focused on family and work not partying and such. We are still trying to figure out again why he was out that late. Nevertheless, he wasn't anywhere dangerous. Queen Street is at the heart of downtown Toronto. It's not a dangerous place but everywhere downtown Toronto theses days lots of shootings have been taking place.

Tobi was an extremely talented graphic artist and had been focused on day trading securities and crypto for 5 years.
He has a son and was making bank. Tobi is exceptionally smart and talented. He designed bending for a lot of successful fashion houses and startups. I learned so much from him.

He comes from a family of extraordinarily smart people. His older brother is Benny Bing Major art designer who has collaboratiins with global brands like IKEA and Google, and his sister is Bunni nee Ajala
Recently married and exceptionally successful..

Please be respectful, someone certainly who has had a positive impact in this world has been senselessly murdered.

LOGICAL AND RATIONAL CONSIDERATION.

The Nigerian military decide to execute a coup to take power explaining that the democracy project started in 1999 is failing the people of Nigeria with increased poverty and corruption.

As a Nigerian, would you trust the armed forces of ECOWAS to come and rescue Nigerians from the military by invading Nigeria and turning it into a war zone in the name of restoring democracy?

What if ECOWAS says they don't have problem with you as a citizen, their problem is with the military that did the coup. Just like the coalition of countries purporting to give democracy to the people in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya did not have problem with the people just their oppressive leaders. How did the citizenry of those countries end up with foreign military intervention?

As a Nigerian, if sanctions were placed on the entire country and the borders closed to all neighbors and the outside world, do you think it is the military that conducted the coup or the ordinary citizen just trying to survive that will suffer?

Answer these questions to decide where your opinion lies on the so-called ECOWAS intervention.

Shallow argument by the NDLEA chairman.

He presupposes that something being allowable means somebody must consume it. Cigarettes are legal and anybody who wishes to buy can buy yet some of us have never ever smoked before. Alcohol is legal yet many people are teetotalers. That something is legalized does not mean people will consume it.

Of course, the current banning of marijuana means Marwa would have a job as NDLEA chairman. The only people who benefit from the criminalisation of drugs are law enforcement agents (without it, they won't have jobs) and drug traffickers (the ban creates a black market which they exploit).

If Marijuana is legalized, it would be cheaper and indeed less attractive as a form of vice. Money that previously went into the pockets of drug lords would instead be used for more economically important things. The consumption would not increase significantly as the demand for illicit drugs is relatively price inelastic.

Here lies an properly articulated and educated soul.

What Bubba is telling the citizens he hopes are mostly illiterate is that, Niejeria will win the war on drugs that The United States could not win and is now on the verge of legalizing.

The war that the Mexicans cannot win dying like ants and are finally taking a different approach. The war that President Duerte of the Philippines could not win after murdering thousands of his brothers. That war with Bubba and his ilk at the helm?
