The right Ebo

Not all sacrifices are accepted. Not all rituals rise. In a world flooded with fake incense and hollow chants, The Right Ẹbọ asks one terrifying question: What if your sacrifice was never received?

Rooted in raw Ifá wisdom, this book unearths the forgotten laws of spiritual transaction where energy, purity, intention, and alignment matter more than blood or feathers. It

challenges Babaláwos, devotees, and seekers to confront the uncomfortable truth: most rituals fail not because of the gods but because of us.

Verse (From Ogbe Ọ̀fún):
“Bí a kò bá mọ ọ̀nà ẹbọ, ẹbọ á di ọdẹ ọdẹ.”
Translation:
"If one does not understand the path of sacrifice, the sacrifice becomes a hunt in vain."

This is not a book for the faithful. It is a book for the fearless.

Who are the IYAAMI ELEYE OSORONGA, really?

Some whisper: “They are nothing but birds, birds that fly at midnight, unseen, unknown.”

Others proclaim boldly: “They live within every woman, resting in the sacred womb of feminine power.”

Women gather and ask in hushed tones:
“If the IYAAMI ELEYE are within us, how do we awaken and command that hidden power?”

Pastors thunder from their pulpits:
“The IYAAMI ELEYE are not holy! They are spirits of darkness!” Yet how strange… Was it not a bird , a dove that descended upon Jesus?
“And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him…” (Luke 3:22)

Even deeper still, the elders speak of an ancient myth:

"Once they say, the IYAAMI ELEYE were masquerades guardians of sacred mysteries but over time, their power transcended masks and became something greater: an invisible fraternity, a celestial cult beyond the grasp of ordinary men."

Is it truth, or is it blasphemy?

Ifá too leaves veiled clues:

Bi eye ba fo l’óko, a o mo ibi to n fo lo.
When the bird flies into the bush, we do not know where it goes.
(Ogbe Oyeku)

Iya ni wà, iya a da awo ara wa bo
It is the Mother we have, the Mother covers her initiates with mysteries
(Osa Meji)

The question lingers, pulsing in the hearts of seekers:

Are the IYAAMI ELEYE demonic, divine, or simply misunderstood?

For the secret things belong unto the LORD our God…” (Deuteronomy 29:29) but what if the IYAAMI themselves are keepers of that secret?

This book rips open ancient taboos and dives deep into sacred mysteries that both the church and the shrine are too afraid to confront.

Life of a Mermaid — Episode 1: The City of the Sea
By Aje Nla

This book is not mere fantasy; it is a coded manuscript of Ifá mysticism, unveiling the hidden city that lies in the heart of the sea — Ilu Omi, where ancient secrets of Aje, Ori, and cosmic balance reside.

Blending myth, initiation wisdom, and spiritual adventure, Life of a Mermaid follows the soul journey of Aje Nla — a seeker tired of earthly burdens, who abandons the land to answer the ancestral call of the deep waters

Guided by Yeye Osun, Mother of Sweet Waters, and initiated into the council of Ìyámi Àjé, Aje Nla uncovers the forgotten birthright of Aje: the sacred wealth that transcends gold, status, and illusion.

In the submerged palaces of Olokun, amidst cosmic markets, mystic councils, and four gates of power, this narrative weaves profound Odu Ifá verses, esoteric Yoruba wisdom, and allegorical teachings on destiny, spiritual alignment, and true prosperity.

A book for initiates, seekers, and dreamers alike — it reminds us that the sea within holds the secrets to mastery of both land and spirit. To know Aje is to know balance. To journey to Ilu Omi is to reclaim the forgotten crown of the soul.

This is not a tale — it is a ritual in words.

Àsè.

IYAAMI ELEYE: The Modern-Day Holy Spirit - An Ifá-Biblical Crossroad of Sacred Feminine Mysteries

This book boldly explores the mysterious parallels between Iyaami Eleye the revered Mothers of the Yoruba spiritual cosmos and the Holy Spirit of the Bible.

Drawing from ancient Odu Ifá verses and biblical scriptures, it unveils how both traditions speak of feminine, creative, and nurturing forces that govern destinies, comfort humanity, and shape the universe.

From the Spirit hovering over waters to Wisdom calling at the gates, and the dove descending on Jesus to the Eleye descending as birds, their fingerprints are unmistakable across both worlds.
Simply put Iyaami Eleye are Holy Spirits.

On the Nature of AJE NLA's Writing: A Testimony of Spirit, Not of Tradition

I did not set forth to write books out of compulsion, nor was this path forged by necessity.

The unfolding of these sacred texts is not the product of ambition but the gentle command of destiny, as whispered by the unseen currents of Àsẹ̀.

For those who have encountered my works , if your inner eyes are open you will have perceived that I do not speak from the common tongue nor from the familiar angles that many traverse.

Mine is not a voice echoing hollow myths; rather, it is the utterance of a witness who has stood before the councils of the Ìrùnmọ̀lè and has partaken directly from the calabash of sacred mysteries.

I do not merely recount tales inherited from the mouths of men ,I distill wisdom born from direct alignment with the primordial forces.

My writings emerge from what my Ori has encountered, where my feet have trodden, and from the rituals and spiritual works my hands have shaped not from borrowed voices nor distant speculations.

There is a sacred thread woven through every verse and page ,a connectivity that transcends ink and paper. It binds the reader to the vibratory forces that govern the cosmos.

Those attuned will feel the subtle energy ripple through their Ori; visions may arise, dreams may deepen, and veils may lift, revealing insights beyond ordinary grasp.

This stands apart from volumes heavy with language yet barren of Àsẹ̀ , books where the mind is fed but the spirit remains untouched.

A spiritual text devoid of spiritual potency is but an empty gourd.

If, for years unbroken, I have poured forth no less than five posts consistently on my blog (www.orisa.com.ng) , know then that this is no mere intellectual exercise.

It is evidence of a reservoir as deep as Omi Àtòri (the primordial waters) a fountain of wisdom that neither diminishes nor dries, for it is fed by the eternal wellspring of Òrún.

These are not mere writings.
They are keys.
They are portals.
They are echoes of Ifá as it breathes anew in this age.

Life of a Babaláwo — Volume 2: How Many Wives Should a Babaláwo Have?

This provocative and deeply esoteric volume interrogates an ancient, rarely questioned assumption in Yoruba spirituality: Is polygamy an obligation for every Babaláwo?

Moving beyond folklore and surface-level tradition, the book unearths hidden layers of Ifá, exploring the complex relationships between Òrúnmìlà and his wives particularly Òṣún, the quintessential emblem of feminine power and mystique.

Through authentic Ifá verses and rarely cited oral traditions, it questions whether emulating Òrúnmìlà’s marital choices is a necessity or merely a myth recycled across generations.

We also travel through the turbulent and symbolic unions of Ṣàngó and his wives, revealing their intertwined spiritual lessons and their implications for the modern-day awo.

Drawing from Ọ̀bàrà Méjì (“Ọ̀pọ̀ aya kì í jẹ́ kó mọ ọ̀tá” — “Too many wives cloud a man’s discernment”) and Ìwòrì Méjì (“A kì í fi aya pọ̀ ju kó máa dá ilé ru” — “Excessive wives fracture the household”), the book exposes both the strengths and dangers of polygamy in spiritual practice.

It confronts urgent questions:
— Is polygamy mandatory for all Babaláwo?
— Can any woman truly carry the spiritual burden of being a Babaláwo’s wife?
— What are the secret characteristics of a woman who stabilizes Ifá’s ase in a home?

Combining verse analysis, life case scenarios, and bold commentary, Life of a Babaláwo Vol. 2 forces both seasoned awo and lay readers to rethink ancient marital norms in Ifá practice — and whether blind imitation of Òrúnmìlà’s polygamy is esoterically valid in today’s world

Life of a babalawo Vol 1 : Opele or Not?

Is a Babaláwo without Ọ̀pẹ̀lẹ̀ incomplete or simply freer?

For decades, modern orthodoxy has crowned the Ọ̀pẹ̀lẹ̀ divination chain as the “mandatory badge” of Ifá priesthood. But what if this is a modern myth, not an ancient mandate?

Life of a Babaláwo: Ọ̀pẹ̀lẹ̀ or Not boldly confronts a quiet dogma suffocating Yoruba spiritual practice. Drawing from over 20 authentic Odù Ifá verses, real-life case studies of Awo across Nigeria, Benin, and the diaspora, and deep historical analysis, Aje Nla dismantles the false idea of Ọ̀pẹ̀lẹ̀ supremacy

If Òrúnmìlà used all tools…
If Yemoja divined with water…
If Ori speaks louder than chains…
Why has one tool become king?

This book is not just a scholarly work ,it is a revolutionary call for all seekers, priests, and cultural custodians to reclaim Ifá’s original diversity and liberate themselves from rigid, commercialized traditions.

Read it if you dare.
Argue with it if you must.
But ignore it at your own peril.

When the Shrine Becomes a Cage: The crisis of domestic abuse behin sacred walls

When the Shrine Becomes a Cage:

“Ọ̀rọ̀ tí a bá fọ̀rọ̀ bò, yóò gbóná sí wá l'ọ́wẹ̀.”
“The issue we cover with silence will burn us when we bathe.”
— Ifá, Odu Osa Meji

This is not just a book — it is a revolt against silence.

In many Yoruba spiritual communities, the shrine is revered as a place of sanctuary, wisdom, and protection.
Yet, what happens when the shrine becomes a cage?
What happens when sacred spaces become sites of suffering?
What happens when Òrìṣà devotees, Ifá priests, and custodians of Ìṣẹ̀ṣe turn a blind eye to domestic violence, cloaking abuse in rituals, verses, and spiritual authority?

This book dares to ask — and answer — these uncomfortable questions.

Citing ancient Ifá verses, such as:

“Omo aráyé ti npa ọmọ ènìyàn, a fi òrò bọ́ lórí ìbànújẹ.”
“Humans harm one another and cover it with eloquent words.” — Odu Oyeku Meji

“Ìwà kì í ṣe àṣà, àṣà kì í ṣe ìwà. Ẹni tí kò ní ìwà pẹ̀lẹ̀, kì í rí ire gbà.”
“Character is not mere tradition; tradition is not true character. One without gentle character will never find goodness.” — Odu Iwori Meji

This work exposes the contradiction between the Ifá mandate of Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ̀ (gentle character) and the reality of domestic abuse hidden beneath tradition.

This Book is for All Women
Whether you are a devotee, a daughter of Ọṣun, a priestess, or a woman silenced by cultural expectations,
this book is your mirror, your megaphone, and your medicine.

It is for:

The woman who has been told, “Ẹ ṣí ṣùgbọ́n kí ẹ má ṣe kó òrìṣà bínú” —
“Endure suffering so you don’t anger the Orisha”.

The woman who has been beaten by a man who still offers ẹbọ and leads rituals.

The woman whose cries are dismissed in the name of destiny, marriage duty, or ancestral obligation.

This book declares unapologetically:
Òrìṣà does not bless abuse.
Ifá does not condone suffering in silence.
Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is not a weapon against women’s Orí or agency.

Journey of Healing and Insight
With high thoughtfulness, rare insight, and unflinching courage, this book offers:

Deep Ifá interpretations that reveal the true stance of Yoruba cosmology against injustice.

Rituals and prayers designed to heal the spirit, cleanse the Orí, and restore personal power.

Case studies and narratives of women whose lives bear the scars of cultural and spiritual complicity.

Call to All
This book is not only for women — it is for men, priests, spiritual leaders, and community custodians who seek to purify our traditions and protect the vulnerable.
It is a bold re-centering of Ifá’s highest principle:

Ododo ni i ṣe ọ̀rẹ́ Ọlọ́run
“Truth is the companion of Olodumare.”

If truth is the companion of Olodumare, then silence in the face of abuse is apostasy.

If truth is the companion of Olodumare, then silence in the face of abuse is apostasy.

This is not merely a book.
It is an ebo (offering) for the healing of all women.
It is a ritual to break the calabash of silence.
It is a revolution wrapped in white cloth.
