Had similar situation last month.
After payment when Dan sent him a message on how to go about the domain push on namesilo, he requested a refund and sent me this message

yeah you don't own the domain you so. I have to sign up and and then provide you my name and ? That sounds really shady and I want no part of it. So please go ahead and just refund my money


I tried explaining to him how it works that he wasn't suppose to provide his ,called him on phone,on whatsapp, he wasn't replying again.
Just ignore all.
After 3 weeks just woke up and the name was transfered.

He will get it transferred.

Maybe he/she was expecting the domain to be transferred to their registrar's(probably godaddy) , instead of the push within your registrar

Good for you then. I have been submitting names to SH and none has been accepted so far. I think its because I always chose the 'let SH ' option, instead of choosing 'I will myself' or 'let SH decide bla bla bla.' Something like they won't want to gamble their money.

Also, how many domains can i suggest for squadhelp. I was only able to suggest 2 although its yet to be approved.

Concerning the bold part above, I have no idea, however you can submit as many as you can on SH, though not at the same time. The 2 you submitted are under review, just wait after 2 - 3 days and you would be able to submit again.

As Afternic recently made changes in there payment policy.

Hope you're not using a Nigeria PayPal as your payment ? Its likely going to be difficult to receive your payment if you ain't using a foreign paypal as your payment method. I recently faced a similar situation, when afternic mailed me to inform that my country is not eligible for paypal payment option so i should opt for bank wire... but then i've been using the paypal for over 3 years there before the incident. So i wrote them() that i have a relative in south africa and i'll love to use his paypal to receive fund and they said no problem. so i already have a nigerian exchanger who's paypal is hosted in south africa. so i used the exchanger's paypal and they just instructed that i change my initial nigerian address to that of the paypal's which is South African address. and after that i was paid through that paypal and i've been using that paypal to recieve fund till date.

so i'll advice you to get a nigerian exchanger who's paypal is hosted in uae/south africa/usa/any european country/or even any other african country sef that has paypal eligibility and use it to receive your fund. before you proceed, write afternic first and inform them, they'll give you an OK response to go ahead.


If not then you have to settle for bank wire payment method and i guess the threshold for bank wire transfer at afternic is $1000. which means you have to wait till your payout reaches $1000 before you cash out.

lol, SH withdrawal process shall. After submitting your w8ben form( for contest cashout), you need your own verified paypal or payoneer for cashout. Emphasis on the bold part. Unlike some platforms that you can just submit your email and paypal cash would be sent to the email and you can then hand over to exchangers to exchange for you.

It is very straight forward. Just print the W94 form,fill in all your details and sign..make sure your name tallies with the name on your SH dashboard.

Thanks, but when I checked SH to the pdf, it looked like W94(written W92 actually) is for US citizens, while w8ben is for non US citizens according the article I saw on their help center. So I ed w8ben instead.

My first ever domain money. I have been endlessly searching for good geo domains to reg to no avail. The ones I found are always discouraging, after checking their metrics, however I see guys posting geo sales here with even [b]less [/b]metrics than the ones I do see. I wonder how they convince their buys anyways.

Well, the main news is that, I kept hustling on SH contest and finally it has paid off. Las las, I have won a contest of $100 on s/q/u/a/d/h/e/l/p. At least that is more than the small data I have been using on those contest. Concerning time? Maybe patience is always the key.

Anyone who has withdrawn on SH should tell me the steps, and I am yet to print and submit that form( I can't the name).
